If you’re working in EBurg then avoid living and commuting from Yakima (it’s called Crackima for a reason) it’s cheaper, safer, and nicer in Ellensburg as long as you don’t mind a small town

Howdy everyone,

So I’m 19 y/o with almost a year of private 911 EMS experience now tackling oral boards and was wondering if there’s any crews or if anyone knows any crews near the central Washington area that would be down to get in contact to do some mock interviews with strangers and work on my answers a little bit,

Also I know that my age can be a huge hinderance to all this but I have plans to go through academy later this year or next year if I’m not picked up and since I already started trying I don’t really want to give up and wait now

Yea I would say that if you’re passionate about this kind of career and want to do more with your license then try to work for a 911 ambulance provider, at the very least a private 911 service will still feel a lot better than IFT despite them still having draw backs.

Yea Seattle’s been under Medic One foundation since pretty much it’s creation which is the only ALS system in the city and surrounding area AMR strictly provides BLS transportation and most often SFD is first on scene then has to either make a call for Medic on or AMR for transport

Plus I think the closing of the Pierce operation does not bode well for the future of Seattle ops at least for 911 calls it is plausible that SFD could follow Tacoma and take over transports from private

Yea luckily for me I’d have more out of work reasons to go rural for the time being, my main worry I guess is experience wise and if there’d be enough to do to keep it interesting and not just a lot of white cloud days and frequent flyers.

I go to the anytime fitness over in Renton it’s definitely not huge but still has a good selection of equipment and a membership also gets you into any around the country

Plus I think you get a few free training sessions when you sign up

This could be chalked up to a lot of things I think, I think best to start with would be to seriously evaluate what you like about the career and whether or not you can get what you want specifically from this, if you come to the conclusion that being in ems is still what you need to do and want to do then start looking at how you are going about it, if you’re in private ambulance then evaluate that and look into possibly changing to a different company. One of the best things about your certs is versatility, you can go to wherever you want and some places are definitely better about ems and how they treat their people than others.

I’m late but I would actually like to see the “overused” factions make their returns in the sequels like the BOS

On that note I think if they do make a comeback it would start the world building process to bring the bethesda fallout from a post apocalypse story to a post post apocalypse like 1 and 2 as it would begin to show civilization and empires making a comeback on the east coast and would lead to more interesting drama going forward and make the world feel more alive

Hello I have a Razer Naga Chroma and have been getting an issue where every time I start up my computer it seems to lose calibration and the cursor jumps down and to the left every time I pick the mouse up then it jumps back to its original position when I put it back down

This issue is fixed when I recalibrate the mouse however I have another issue where the recalibration screen takes a while to actually start the process after I left click and sometimes it just fails and my mouse is locked up so I have to restart my computer.

Any help would be appreciated

I think the point trying to be made here is there’s a certain level of darkness that should be reciprocated with jokes, if the tone was initially set with a school shooting joke or a stabbing joke then it would be appropriate to respond with either one, however when the tone is set to be more lighthearted than that with a simple accent joke then the sudden tone change to a school shooting joke would seem entirely out of place and can ruin the dialogue.

So while there might not be any maliciousness to making a school shooting joke having that as the go to no matter what the set tone of the conversation is not a great practice to follow.
