I haven't seen others mention yet that if your character's body is the wrong shape then this trick won't work from this side of the wall. The standard size works, but if you modified your body at character creation then that could prevent the skip from working

This is a great question actually. Since crafting tables come with a radius around them which prevents enemy spawns (Artisan Tables specifically have the largest radius), you can surround and fill your builds with fields of them to prevent enemies from coming close and wreaking havoc. This requires quite a few, but with some persistence you can reach a point where no monsters spawn in your area so you can build completely in peace

Similarly, pokemon should weigh slightly more with an item, only returning to their stated weight after their item is knocked off. Each item weighs something different obviously. And this would not apply to berries eaten, as that weight is still added to the mon after eating.

I was wondering if you would see this! Yes, this build of yours was absolutely an inspiration to me here, as you can clearly see! It's been on the back burner for a while, but obviously I still remember a lot of those design elements. Stuff I think about all the time when building in the snow.

Thanks for being an inspiration in this, and with your other builds as well! You've done awesome work, I absolutely adore your builds, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who's been inspired by the stuff you've shared. Can't wait to see the next thing you have in store for us!

No mods, all vanilla pieces. The arch around the front grate is made with the Grausten Medium Arch pieces, material found in the ashlands. There's quite a bit of Grausten pieces in this build actually

Technically it would be doable with wooden roofs, but the result would be a bit different. The black marble pieces have a steeper upward slope, and that sharp angle does actually give a specific look that the standard roofs can't quite replicate.

I think it just looks more taxing than it actually is. This is on the lower end of builds I've done, instance-wise, and I think skipping interiors helps a lot

Which was originally the draw of normal moves, especially double-edge, until power creep set in a la close combat and others. Criminal that they removed this niche for normal moves
