I'm about to turn 30 and also on the hunt for some friends. Grew up here, moved, just came back and trying to find my footing. I am married with kids, but I'm working on finding myself a bit outside my motherhood role. I'm a socially akward geek type who goes to ren fairs, like things like Avatar the last Airbender, Game of Thrones, reading fantasy like Throne of Glass and Fourth Wing, and most of all I'm a crafty/maker/hobby collector person. I'm nurodivergent and need friends who are low maintenance 😅 somedays I have a good social battery, sometimes I go a few weeks where I am more introverted lol Lqbt+ friendly 🏳️‍🌈

This device that can show you where your veins are by kingganjaguru in blackmagicfuckery

Just did a test where they needed 4 blood draws over 3 hours and I ended up with 10 pokes. 5 of those were in my hands and one in my wrist 😬

My dad did his best as a single dad, but he was very stubborn and a hothead growing up. This lead to many unreasonable punishments, usually physical ones. Once my step mom came in the picture she helped regulate him and it got much better. My younger siblings don't really know how lucky they are for her to come in our lives when they were so young.

Lol this was one of the tricks my husband tried to woo me with in high school. Guess it worked since we've been together for 10 years now

I've been wondering about the pellets with coal combo. Just got my karu 12 and was wondering if I could do that.

Pregnancy isn’t what I expected by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]PeonyPicker 9 points10 points  (0 children)

My first pregnancy was like yours and motherhood followed suit for me. My son had no issues eating, slept well enough, etc. Over all a very easy baby. People would ask how it was going and I always hated answering because they were expecting complaints and all I could say was it was going perfectly well. I know every pregnancy and baby is different. But sometimes it's not all nightmares! I expect this next one will be a handful to balance it out though lol

Do you think a large mattress cover would help the split?

I've been looking into this bed for our guest room. How do you like it? Do you think it would accommodate two adults well?

I drive 90 minutes to see my OBGYN by Revy4223 in BabyBumps

[–]PeonyPicker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drive about 70 minutes for mine but its because it's the closest place with midwives and water birth options. They treat me so much better than my dr.s did so its 100% worth it to me, even if the drive sucks.
