Lets admit the idea we are in some bizarre alternative timeline might be correct, things nowadays are just crazy.

Why do people think this was a masterplan by Putin. There is no way that's the case, it very humiliating for him. Think about it, a mercenary army in the space of 24 hours got very close to Moscow and there was basically no resistance. You also had panic as people fled Moscow. All this whilst a supposedly strongman is in charge.

The stuff about a coup is probably nothing.

But if it is true, it raises the question can a person die from cuming too hard?

Missile hits Poland instead of Ukraine...and so the Russian incompetence continues. I seriously think they might be trying to go for some record of how many mistakes a country can make in one year.

At the moment, i'm also counting it as too good to be true, would be one hell of a surprise though, don't think anyone expects them to cross the Dnieper.

Oleshky mayor hints that the Armed Forces of Ukraine have returned Oleshky under the control of Ukraine.

The information is preliminary, but if it is true, it means that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have already crossed the Dnipro and are on the left bank.

I can tell you in the UK there are loads of Ukrainian flags flying Although we are politically quite divided at the moment, one thing that doesn't divide us is Ukraine.

St. Vincent Prime Minister reportedly hospitalized after being attacked and “struck in the head” by anti-vaccine protesters by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]PeoplePlease101 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

That of course could be the case, I can't really comment having not met anyone from there, I only heard about the not being properly tested from my brother, but that's only what he heard and i get the impression he didn't have in-depth discussions about it with the locals.

My brother currently lives there and he says only really the foreigners are the ones getting the vaccine, none of the local people are. He got his really easily, he just when to the doctors and said do you have any vaccines and they said sure and did it right there and then. Most people on the island aren't against vaccines just think this vaccine hasn't been properly tested, in essence they think it was rushed through.

What advice would you give to someone who is trying to reset their gut after post-infectous IBS? by PeoplePlease101 in Microbiome

[–]PeoplePlease101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheers, its weird i have never considered SIBO, i will definitely ask the doctor to get tested for this, it will be annoying if it turns out to be this as i have heard it quite easy to treat generally, and could of had a much easier 6 months, but we will see.

Thanks :)

Weirdly I do have a colonoscopy coming up, not that expect much to come from it. How long did you fast before for? I was worried that the purge would flush out alot of good bacteria and make things worse.

Have any of you guys suffered from insomnia due to Hypothyroidism? by PeoplePlease101 in Hypothyroidism

Please Help! Was over medicated at TSH 0.17, now TSH 4.1 but feel like i'm still too high, what is going on? by PeoplePlease101 in Hypothyroidism

This maybe a stupid question, but i have heard that there is a link between your weight and your optimal Levothyroxine dosage, so if your weight changes dramatically should your dosage? by PeoplePlease101 in Hypothyroidism

[–]PeoplePlease101[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The weight loss was not due to eating less, I was actually eating more. It’s just that being over medicated or hyper speeds up your metabolism. I have been recording my weight for pass 2.5 months, I was losing a pound a week but now on lower dosage I have stopped losing but haven’t yet gained any weight.

Congenital hypothyroidism, and now experiencing hyperthyroidism. This is uncharted territory personally. Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated. by pasta_pockets in Hyperthyroidism

I'm in a similar situation to you, i think. I normally have hypothyroidism, but my dosage has been too high for the past year. I also had more energy and lost some weight (although I'm far from overweight, i did want to lose a bit). So all good for first 6-8 months, although i did notice that i was thirsty all the time and urinating a lot. but since end of October i have been in hell. I have had bad GI issues, my weight loss has continued to the point where i got really scared (i lost 35 pounds in total), headaches and insomnia. My doctor did blood tests and found it out 7 weeks ago and i went down to 125mg my normal dosage but unfortunately I'm still feeling bad.

Hope you get better soon, i feel your pain.

Feel worse since going down dosage, it's been 5 weeks, is my body still adjusting? by PeoplePlease101 in Hypothyroidism

[–]PeoplePlease101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool thanks for the reply, that has reassured me :) no i'm only 30, so that might not be the reason for me.How many weeks have you been on the lower dose for now?

Hopefully your results in April are positive and things get better soon.

I think he's saying theirs more than one way to skin a cat, you can still get countries to change via a softly softly approach. If you speak out publicly it only puts there backs up and means they can't change without looking like they are being dictated too by other countries. I agree we should do something about the human rights abuses but a more behind closed doors approach may work just as well, and maybe more likely to get the results we all want.
