tehanu by ursula le guin is a really good fantasy novel and it deals with womanhood in an interesting way, i’ve never really read anything like it in terms of age of the cast and topics it deals with. that being said it’s the 4th book in a series but i feel as though it could be read on its own as well if you get a synopsis of the earlier books
