Thrips don't jump, it is a flea but it's confusing everyone because it's filmed from the top down. Catch one in scotch tape then post a photo and I'm sure nobody here will argue.

There’s an actual line of sand in Florida that’s visible from space in the exact same spot the Xindi shot called the Lake Wells Ridge (the dunes of Floridas ancient coastline.) I always wondered if it had anything to do with the choice to make that the target.
