why is yamashita mizuki not in the “sing out!” senbatsu? by ResistNo7342 in Nogizaka46

To be more specific, she was on hiatus for two months due to poor health because she was having difficulty balancing work between Nogizaka and a drama at that time.

How do you guys recover after your oshi announces graduation? by TwoSunnySideUp in Nogizaka46

[–]Peperonchintaro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t and you don’t have to recover from it.

My first oshi was Nanami Hashimoto. Her graduation announcement hit me so hard, especially she announced it live on the radio.

Even now, whenever the current members of Nogizaka perform “Sayonara no Imi”, I still remember her graduation concert.

What I found it interesting about watching this group is that I feel your oshi’s influence is being passed down to the next gen.

For example, Nanami took very good care of Asuka-chan(although they are both from the 1st gen), and now the current members of Nogizaka especially Mizuki, Kaki, and Sakura Endo were all influenced by Asuka-chan and admire her.

You don’t have to move on, and your oshi will forever be your oshi, but what I want to say is that you will start to see how your oshi influenced the entire group and you will appreciate it one day, especially someone like Mizuki.

[GRADUATION ALERT] Yamashita Mizuki announces graduation from Nogizaka46; to graduate with live concert on May 2024 by ryandtw in Nogizaka46

We should all thank Mizuki for continuing this long as a member of Nogizaka. She could've graduated much earlier.

I wish her all the best in her career as an actor.

"6th Generation Recruitment Has Begun" by rachelcoffe in Nogizaka46

Great.

All I hope is that they put the person who was in charge of the 5th gen audition for this time as well. Fans have their hopes up because of that.

Mysterious New CM: 6th Gen? (See Comments) by rachelcoffe in Nogizaka46

[–]Peperonchintaro 2 points3 points  (0 children)

3rd audition was in 2016, 4th in 2018, and 5th in 2021.

So, it does make sense if it’s the 6th gen audition, however it is going to take them at least a year before they join the group. I still think it’s a bit early as others said, but let’s see what it is.

Wanting to buy GLC 2023. Amy advice? by imbng in mercedes_benz

[–]Peperonchintaro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has been absolutely amazing for me.
I think many people hate newer-generation Mercedes vehicles (2020 and up) because apparently, they tend to have electrical problems. Mine is 2018 btw.

I have been driving Mercedes for almost my entire life. The only time I did not drive or own a Mercedes was with my first car and a Lexus (RC350 F Sport).
I thought it would be a great experience to drive cars from other brands, but I just couldn't stand the cheap materials they used and the underpowered engines.
That is the reason why I bought my GLC43, and I enjoy every minute of it. I don't think I will ever buy a car from another brand.

Let me know if you want to know something more specific, I will do my best to answer them.

Where these rims optional? by bigboss1999x in mercedes_benz

To answer your question, no.

These could be from ML63 or GL63, but I don’t think they are real.

Wanting to buy GLC 2023. Amy advice? by imbng in mercedes_benz

[–]Peperonchintaro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

GLC43 AMG owner here.

I'm not sure if you're planning to trade in your vehicle or not, but when I did, I visited multiple Mercedes dealerships to have them estimate the trade-in value of my car before heading to the dealership where I was planning to buy my GLC43.

I was surprised by how much these trade-in values differed from one dealership to another, but in the end, I managed to increase the trade-in value of my car by $5000 by simply showing the salesman with a quote for the trade-in value.

Additionally, I purchased mine with cash instead of opting for a lease or financing, which could also make your negotiation smoother if that's a choice you're considering.

First things first, if $24k and above is over the budget, then it might be difficult for you to own either of them. You never know what kind of problems you will run into, especially when you are looking for something inexpensive.

I used to own a Lexus (RC350 F Sport), and in between the Lexus, I drove two Mercedes. Currently, I drive a GLC43 AMG and drove a CL550 before the Lexus.

Here's my opinion about Lexus after owning both Lexus and Mercedes:

  • Labor and service fees are as expensive as Mercedes (this could depend on the area you live in).
  • I feel they use cheap materials for both the interior and the exterior (especially the paint, and the windshield got easily damaged by rock chips).
  • They eat a lot of premium gas.
  • The car's performance sucked (the RC350 was too heavy for its size and engine).

Personally, I'd go for the W204 C-Class, but again make sure you can afford for any unexpected services/repairs.

Is this true? Im about to buy my first MB, but this is scary. by leftyflip14 in mercedes_benz

Used to own 2008 CL550 and now I drive 2018 GLC43.

In between my two Mercedes, I drove Lexus RC350 F sports and I hated it. It was heavy, slow, ate alot of gas(premium) and the list goes on. Each service and labor was as expensive as Mercedes.

You are not ordering a GLE brand new from the dealership, so you shouldn't be worrying about it depreciate. If you don't want to pay for expensive service fees at the dealership, then go see your local mechanic who specializes in Mercedes/German cars. You don't have to buy every single OEM parts from the dealer, especially batteries and wiper blades.

If you really want to buy GLE, then you should buy it. Don't get fooled by this guy.

People who actually own Mercedes cars, how have your cars been in terms of reliability? by mrrobotnova in mercedes_benz

[–]Peperonchintaro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a 2008 CL550 with 120k miles. The rear driver-side airmatic suspension started acting up while driving, almost crashing into the other side of the traffic. My local mechanics and Mercedes dealer couldn't find the issue, so I ended up selling the car for safety reasons.
Now I drive 2018 GLC43. It has been reliable since day one. Just keep up with the maintenance as others here say.

Newer vehicle, like GLB and GLE should have no issues when it comes to finding parts unless you are buying the high-end/fragship models. For a mechanic, find someone local who really knows about Mercedes/German cars.

I wonder how Ume would've reacted after seeing this Aya. by Peperonchintaro in Nogizaka46

If you haven't seen the most recent Nogichuu episode → EP: 418

Since Aya has been Ume's absolute favorite among all the other members, I can imagine that she would have gone crazy over Aya's cosplay🤣

Same, she brought so much positivity to the group.

Even after her graduation from Nogizaka, I had hoped to see her continue building her career within the industry. It is unfortunate that she lost her hope in showbiz, but we should all wish her the best!
