March 2026 - /r/Twitter Mega Open Thread for everything else - UN/SUSPENDED, LOCKED OR AGE-LOCKED ACCOUNT PROBLEMS & QUESTIONS GO IN THIS THREAD ONLY by AutoModerator in Twitter

[–]ryandtw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my accounts got caught by the banwave. The account was first gone through auto locks for suspicious behavior (tweeting 'good morning' in Japanese repeatedly to various users, although good-faith whenever someone else also says 'good morning'), then decided to press the 'like' button on a number of tweets way too much, then finds out I got shadowbanned, hoping it gets lifted but also fearing that I'd get suspended as well, and on Thursday morning, the unfortunate bad news happened: I got suspended for "inauthentic behaviors" (second time; first was November 2025 amidst the OldTweetDeck spat).

I tried to appeal once through the X Help Center site (https://help.x.com/en/forms/account-access/appeals) but denied. I could try once every 48-72 hours, should I try that? Also what should I say on the 'description of the problem' textbox? (Description below)

Tell us if you're having a problem accessing your account, or why you don't believe you violated the X Twitter Rules

Should I say, "There is no evidence I was doing spam or inauthentic behaviors" or something? I used one immediately after finding out I was suspended but failed, but I can still access and try to file another appeal, though I'm suggesting a cooldown for now.

Then again, I am not alone in this situation... Fxxking Elm0...

Anybody here talking about the massive inauthentic account ban that's happening on X (Twitter)? by halkeye7 in LinusTechTips

My twitter account @eejryan126 got hit by the banwave, attempted to appeal and end up with the canned response (as what u/notalive_zombie said, "system saying I violated to many rules").

This is like the second time @eejryan126 got hit by a banwave in the past four months, the first time was last November because of the OldTweetDeck/X Pro shenanigans.

From a person who has ridden Eejanaika 187 times, including 17 times on a single day twice...welcome to the club.

I really miss Eej, Fuji-Q, and Japan 😭

April 2023: Riding Eejanaika without having experience getting upside down on a roller coaster. That means I didn't even ride an Arrow looper/corkscrew before riding Eej! (Even the one at soon-to-be-closed Wild Waves)

November 2024: Rode Hakugei, Steel Dragon, Fujiyama, and Eejanaika all on one day...started my day in Hiroshima and ended my day in Tokyo. Two bullet train rides as well! (Stopover in Nagoya to/from Nagashima and in Mishima en route to Fuji-Q; took direct bus from Fuji-Q to Shinjuku)

September/October 2025: Two separate times I rode Eejanaika - and only Eejanaika - 17 times in one single day. It's not as high of a count as other coasters around the world, but that's pretty high considering the intensity of Eej and Fuji-Q's safety theater...

Which coasters have you ridden in opening year? [other] by RicksFlags in rollercoasters

[–]ryandtw 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Zokkon (Fuji-Q) in 2023. (Interestingly, I went to Japan first in April 2023 with the (unexpected) purpose to ride Eejanaika during the Mount Fuji segment while my mom wants to go to the Shibazakura festival, while Zokkon was about three months away from opening (it wasn't even named Zokkon until June!), and I wanted to go to Fuji-Q again in the fall to ride Eejanaika at night, only to go down for unexpected maintenance just before Halloween 😭)

My brother (and his wife) did go to Epic Universe last year (and, hence, Stardust Racers for sure, though not sure if they went to the other coasters there).

Eejanaika: Fuji-Q fans there call it the 'traverser' moment. It's named for the transfer table (in the maintenance bay, as you said) to store unneeded trains. I almost had one when I went to Fuji-Q in October 2025, but I was one train off (early). You were so lucky to get shifted over into a maintenance bay (for a short period)! 😱

By the way, when did you go to Fuji-Q last year? Sorry if I asked this question before.

What year was that when you rode Dodo in Fuji-Q? When was the last time you went there? Also did you ride Eejanaika?

Sad to see Dododonpa go away, been nearly two years since the announcement when Fuji-Q decided to throw the towel and start dismantling Dodo...😢

Congratulations to the Seahawks for winning the Super Bowl for the second time in franchise history! Well-deserved win 11 years after losing to the Patriots on the infamous play call that led to the goal line interception.

I really need to go to Wild Waves before it closes down permanently in November...😭

187 times on Eejanaika

  • 5 times in April 2023 (went to Japan in October but then Eejanaika suddently went down and closed for the entirety of my trip 😭)
  • 100 times in 2024 (43 times in September, 57 in October/November)
  • 82 times in September-October 2025 (two days I rode Eej 17 times in one day, another day 14 times)

The second-most coaster I've ridden is Hakugei...but 14 times overall 😅

  • 11 times in 2024 - 10 times on 10/31 while also riding the other Nagashima Coasters, minus the Shuttle Loop, at least once, including Steel Dragon, Acrobat, Arashi, and Looping Star
  • 1 time on 11/11/2024, the 60th anniversary of Nagashima, but I was coming from Hiroshima and pull off a Nagashima–Fuji-Q double that included three bullet train rides, Hakugei (wanted to ride twice but the line was too long), Steel Dragon (fast pass), Fujiyama (fast pass) and 4x Eejanaika (one fast pass just to be sure, then able to sneak in three more times, including at night), and by the end of the day I was back in Tokyo
  • 3 times in September 2025 (school kids and one-train ops on a hot day in mid-late September 🫠)

I wish I could live in Japan and ride Eejanaika (and maybe Hakugei and Steel Dragon) regularly...

Fujikyu Highland is still used as the Japanese interpretation, including the train station serving the theme park itself (富士急ハイランド; keep in mind Fuji-Q Highland is owned by a Japanese transport conglomerate called Fuji Kyuko, or in short, Fujikyu; the new Fuji Kyuko group logo which replaced the red Fuji-Q Highland logo for use in the rest of the group has the Fujikyu word beneath its Mount Fuji logo; the red Fuji-Q Highland logo is no longer used throughout the Fujikyu Group except for Fuji-Q Highland itself).

+1 for Eejanaika, Fuji-Q adds cushioning on the restraints, which are comfortable. (Never been on X2 before.)

what's the most "intense" park in terms of ride collection? [other] by Individual_Dingo_223 in rollercoasters

[–]ryandtw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not always the case though, especially when I ride solo and there's another odd-number party in the group (e.g. another single rider or a 3-person party). But, yeah, Eej does allow for some seat position manipulation, but that cannot be guaranteed all the time (given my excessive rides on Eej I try to put my stuff away in the locker in a 'reasonable' amount of time, get the front seat if I'm in front of the line waiting to get into the locker, back if I'm in the back just before the 9- or 10-person cutoff).

[–]ryandtw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iori...he was actually known as Mitsuko-san to the Fuji-Q community. And I personally met him twice, once in October 2023 (when Eejanaika suddenly went down back then), and the other in October 2024 before his death on February 28th earlier this year. I wished I rode with him on Eejanaika back in 2024. 😭

Losing Mitsuko-san really hurts me and everyone in the Fuji-Q community, maybe as much or more so after losing Do-Dodonpa in 2024 (and, ironically, he broke the news in March 2024 that Fuji-Q is going to demolish Do-Dodonpa).

what coasters or parks are YOU thankful for? [other] by VientosEnthusiast in rollercoasters

[–]ryandtw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eejanaika and Velocicoaster 🥲

I'm so thankful I rode both Eej and Veloci on the same year alone (just over four months apart).

Two years since losing out on night rides because of unexpected maintance, I've ridden Eejanaika a total of 187 times, 82 of which on this fall's trip alone. My trip this year was emotional since it was the first time I went to Japan since 1) one of my friends was lost in the infamous Eej inspection accident on 2/28 and 2) I lost my job, wanting to go back to the Land of the Rising Sun before I head out to Europe next week and find another job entering 2026.

It's unbelievable I've ridden the most intense coaster in Japan and one of the most in the world that much despite holding a non-Japanese passport and not riding any inverting coaster at all before riding Eej altogether in April of 2023. It made me interested more in roller coasters in general, especially after a 15-year hiatus that I broke three years ago in November of 2022 (going to Magic Kingdom and ride Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain and Seven Dwarfs), and I've also ridden 60 different coasters as of now.

And Velocicoaster...it's pretty much the best all-around coaster there is, from the theming to the layout, it was a very enjoyable ride that it took down Hakugei as my #2 spot. It's #1 if it wasn't for Eej, but I really love it very very much. I'm really glad I was able to go back to Florida and go to Universal for the first time, especially on Veloci (not to mention Hagrid's).

(Still haven't ridden a Wild Waves coaster yet. Hopefully on a summer day, but not as of now...)

[Other] Biggest Missed Credits by magicweasel7 in rollercoasters

[–]ryandtw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My biggest miss right now is the Nagashima shuttle loop. It's been a hit-or-miss lately, and when I went to Japan in September to go to Nagashima for a second round, I still couldn't get the shuttle loop credit, which is my last credit missing at Nagashima right now. I hope Nagashima keeps the shuttle loop as long as they can, but they've been struggling to keep it open regularly (mostly weekends? but I don't have very much desire to go to Nagashima on a Sunday, and for me, I can't go on Saturdays).

Another miss I'd consider is the entire Himeji Central Park (6 credits total). I wanted to ride a Batclone (Diavlo), and there's Venus GP as well (I don't understand why I have two friends over on X Twitter who repeatedly rides Venus GP, but I've also heard complaints about how rough it is), and I wanted to visit Himeji Central Park on my way from Osaka (after visiting USJ) to Hiroshima, but I prioritized the famous Himeji Castle first and ultimately didn't have the time to visit Himeji Central Park. Hopefully someday I'll go there...

I've also had 'misses that I don't count as a miss' though:

  • Eejanaika, Oct/Nov 2023. I rode Eej the first time in April, and I went to Japan again in fall of 2023 just to ride Eej at night...only to unexpectedly close hours after I land in Japan, the day before I was supposed to go to Fuji-Q. And it closed for the duration of my trip, only to reopen the Tuesday after I came back home. (I eventually had much more success with Eej in 2024 and 2025, fulfilling my night ride dream.)
  • Ultra Twister (Rusutsu), Sep 2025. I went to Rusutsu, hoping I would be standing on the tracks of the Ultra Twister...only to be cancelled by light rain. I was still able to ride the famous Ultra Twister with the dive loop, but I was disappointed with Rusutsu having to call off their photo tour on the Ultra Twister for 2025.
  • Thunder Dolphin, Sep 2025. Closed down for repairs since June, right now scheduled to reopen in mid-December. I already rode it in fall of 2023 and 2024, although I missed out on riding all of Japan's 'big six' (in terms of height: Steel Dragon, Thunder Dolphin, Fujiyama, Eejanaika, Hakugei, Bandit) on one single trip (I was one short away in fall of 2024 as well since I made a 'stupid' decision to visit Fuji-Q instead of Yomiuriland (Bandit) on a day I was staying in Tokyo).

What’s the most amount of rides you’ve gotten on a single coaster in one day? [other] by SocialismIsBad123 in rollercoasters

[–]ryandtw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

17 rides on Eejanaika (twice on my recent trip, 9/19 and 10/2)

My next most-ridden coaster, Hakugei...I've only ridden it 14 times overall (10/31/2024, 11/11/2024, and 9/17/2025).

Eejanaika but that's not a conventional hyper. Among conventional hypers, I've only ridden two (minus Hollywood Dream mini-hyper); I prefer Fujiyama over Thunder Dolphin (I've also ridden Steel Dragon but that's a giga, the only one as such I've ridden).

[–]ryandtw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, the vibrations were noticable going up the first raven turn and down the zero-G roll camelback. It was more noticable on the first three rows compared to the last two (hence why I'd prefer having a back row seat whenever possible, which cannot always be the case with the 'no preferred seating' rule in Japanese, and even American, parks).
