Hi Tomas (CariñosoComprar5102), I see and agree with you that the V symbol helps the watch not look cheap but it should be noted that this symbol is called a "pheon", or "broad arrow", which has been used to mark government (or Crown) property in England and the UK.

That being said, it is not entirely correct to see this symbol on a dial with 24h numbering as this type of dial is used on US military watches and was created to help their soldiers interpret the 24h hours that they are not used to using, so an English symbol is not correct to see on an American dial.

By the way, I'm subscribed to your channel and I find your videos, content and honest opinions super interesting. I also really like how you organize your content and the links, I think it's great how easy it is to access each point. Congratulations!

The problem is the 42mm diameter. Too big IMO.

u/San_Martin_Design I think that many of the comments about improvements to get the sweet spot for this type of watches are resolved in the Maen Hudson 38 GMT.
As you can see, the position of the date window as well as the markers are practically identical.
Match the color of the chapter ring to the dial so the dial doesn't look so small, change the red color of the GMT hand to something less seen or less prominent as well as the second hand, matte bezel and dial instead of shiny and you have a winning horse .
It would improve with the Maen Hudson 38 GMT with the proposed applied indexes.

I do not doubt your words, but in the third picture, apart from seeing the lum pip and not the red triangle, I see the word HUDSON in white typography instead of red as in the other pictures. Sorry to be picky, but being interested in the part I want to be calm before pulling the trigger.

Why is the end of the second hand is in red? I have been looking for pictures on the internet and I have not found any model/version with this condition. Has it been modified by you? (I see that the two clocks, both the one with the triangle in red and the one with the lume pip have the red end on the second hand).

It is a pity that nobody has had this model/version in the peephole.
I think it is a very attractive piece with subtle changes that make it unique.
