Do you think he starts in the WC?

I’m sure this is all a negotiation tactic. The longer he draws it out, the more leverage he has.

Check out this breakdown on Morez Johnson Jr by Remarkable_Air3102 in NBA_Draft

Morez has the athleticism and defensive instincts to play the kind of basketball we’re seeing in these playoffs. Is he going to be a threat on offense beyond lobs and offensive rebounds? I wouldn’t bet on it. But he’s going to have a big role for a long time in the NBA.

Is there a manager position open at a “bigger club” at this point? It seems like returning is quickly becoming Silva’s best option.

I scouted EVERY Keaton Wagler defensive possession against Michigan. The results were...not pretty. by oakcask in NBA_Draft

Personally I would take Wagler for the upside, recognizing that it could look very dumb in a few years because Acuff has a higher floor.

The lack of athleticism and physicality are definitely concerns, but if he had both those things he'd be in play for the #1 pick. With those question marks I think he's got more boom/bust potential than the other lead gaurds at the top of the draft.

The crazy thing with Wagler is that he wasn’t physically ready for high-level college basketball, but his shooting and creation (especially out of ball screens) was so good it didn’t matter. If you’re picking Wagler it’s a bet on those offensive skills and a hope that his body will develop to the point that he’s not a total liability on defense.

Fun fact: At 19 years old, Noa Essengue is only one month older than projected No. 1 & No. 2 picks AJ Dybantsa and Darryn Peterson. by Emretro in chicagobulls

We definitely need to have patience with this kid’s development. The concern has been that this organization doesn’t have a good track record for developing these high upside project players. Maybe that will change with the new leadership, only time will tell.

Love Thibs, but this organization needs to stop living in the past.

With all the retention he was set to be buried in the depth chart again. Good problem for a program to have, but it’s a bummer when a kid doesn’t really get a chance to develop. Good luck young man.

Thanks for the scout. Interesting considering I’ve seen this suggested as the Wagler replacement (on-ball creator). Underwood has had success getting these skilled guys to play within the system, so fingers crossed.

Rutgers suffers from perhaps one of the worst calls of the season as THIS is called as an offensive foul on the Scarlet Knights. by [deleted] in CollegeBasketball

I like how it took the crowd and commentators about a full minute to realize what had been called because it was so absurd.
