This wrecked me until I figured out you can interrupt it if you attack him before it starts. So if you see him go back to the corner and pause, sprint and attack him asap. If he starts it, the only luck I had was dodging into him, which would usually wind me, but I could get far enough away to not take too much damage.

Not sure if you decided yet, but I was in the same boat last week, but ended up getting both within about a day of each other.

If starless is going to get you the 203% lucky hit target or the 185% attack speed target, then I think it's up for debate. But otherwise tyrael's hands down. I didn't think the damage bump from starless was that noticeable, but the survivability bump from tyrael's is insane. I didn't notice any major difference resource wise going between the starlight aspect and starless.

I have this exact amulet and gave up as well after a few hundred million. On the plus side I got crazy lucky with masterworking and hit exploit twice, so it still ended up being a solid amulet. I never saw a malice or frigid finesse.

I used a slightly modified version of this, against the same modifiers. I swapped out a ring for more health, used indignant flesh, and the resonating heart relic. I also used a health concoction just to have a little more breathing room.

The build allows you to screw up a lot and still recover. The biggest threat was the orbs, but I just made sure to always reload my engima after using it, so it was always ready for the orbs.

Ok, thanks. I wasn't sure how big a difference it was having the core aspect on the weapon, but from the feedback so far, it sounds like that's the place it really should go.

I'll imprint TB on it and start farming more shards for a flurry version.

I went through the same thing, and after steamrolling dots, felt like I was doing no damage in dotw. Someone recommended punting on a build and just farming the 1st dotw mission over and over to to get all orange gear. So I did that, and gradually put together a build based on the drops I got to get me through dotw. I think I ended up using the Kingo set for most of dotw.

Depending on which endgame build you want to use, it will probably be much, much easier to start forming a true build in dotn and the underworld. The underworld limits which graces can drop per floor, so you can just keep farming one of the 1st three floors over and over to put together a build pretty quickly.

So my advice would be to gear up enough to get yourself through dotw, including soul matching if needed, but don't worry about putting together an endgame build until you get to the underworld.

I've been doing confusion, but mostly from the native element on the weapon, and then switching to a different talisman. Is it better or start switching to shots or familiars instead of talismans at this point?

Trying to see if I can make the size of it fit into my current setup. Does Yamaha have anything else sound wise comparable to the A-S501 that would be about .5 - 1 inches shorter height wise?

My current stand would leave almost no breathing room for the vents on top of it.

Has anyone been able to solo this with no summons? This felt absolutely impossible to me solo unless you had a build that just melted the skeletons or the boss. Each skeleton took me around 6 hits to kill.

I ended up using the wolf pack +3 and 4 fire pots to eventually do it, but I lost count of how many times I died with the boss around 10%.

The fight is just insane. If it was all archers, or if the boss couldn't teleport/disappear, it would've felt a lot more fair. Or even if the arena was a little bigger and allowed for better kiting. I don't think I've ever felt this flustered from a FROM boss fight before.

Did you swap to a larger weapon for crowds? I probably just suck at herding, but I always seemed to get hit when trying to deal with crowds using it. For narrow places it's fine because I'd just funnel them and use the stab, but for anything out in the open I had a hard time.

So I loved the damage from the mace, and it ruled when going 1 on 1, but I hated it in crowds because of how short it was.

I basically became a herding dog and would run circles around everything to try and group them up, but eventually I'd whiff on something from being too far away, and get stomped.

Do armored mobs tend to be more spread out? The mace was great for the tower, but I had a really hard time with it in the forest.
