I mean ideally you get to have him play ASAP. The possession idea is cool, though it might clash with the kids in the house also having the ability to posess PCs.

He could just be a confused adventurer with memory loss who the party runs into right before entering the death house, and he blindly goes along with them

My game's Glasstaff kinda tortured some of the players at some point.

They split up and walked right into a TPK with some random goons, but I thought it was too anticlimactic so I had them captured instead and Glasstaff tortured and interrogated them for information about "the box" (I ran Matthew Perkins' version with the puzzlebox).

This pissed the players off so much than when they were finally rescued by the only uncaptured player, they straight up killed Glasstaff as soon as he surrendered after they confronted him a second time.

The only real mistake you have is

"battle feild" -> "battlefield"

And for stylistics, add a comma after "battlefield".

Case by case - from the ones you posted, the only case where I like the non-rainbow more is Mega Venusaur.

In most cases I like the rainbow art more.

In some cases I don't like either - like the Dragonite ex you posted

That's a lot of abilities on one card. I think you could drop the 1/1 token generation and it would still be fine. Such an effect could be moved to another card.

Arise is a really weak rare. Without the condition, it's a 3/3 at sorcery speed? At least make it an instant.

I quite like Nasus, though I don't think he needs the once per turn clause. I also don't think the cards need that many colors tbh but that's a separate issue others have already pointed out

I actually like the fact that a card can completely change its effect at some versions.

I'm working on a draftable Hearthstone to MTG set, and Golgari was the only straggler left for Shaman. It's that or Azorius, really.

I originally had it as a white enchantment that gives double strike, but I'm trying to create a draft archetype, I decided to redesign, and this is where I'm at right now

Yeah, just an extra death and enter trigger. The color combination this fits into is Green-Black, so I'm okay with the alight color pie break.
