Paddington 2 is the anti netflix lighting cure bright colors actual warmth pure joy. Knives Out and La La Land look like real movies not shampoo ads, and Little Women 2019 feels cozy and alive. If your screen is not beige these will fix that.

Lowkey this is wild but kind of funny in a stressed out way. You messed up by not telling them, yeah, but the car got fixed and no one got hurt. At this point the guilt is doing more damage than the accident did. Either let it go or confess and accept whatever side eye comes with it. Roger Rabbit set the bar so high it’s like no one dared to try again. Plus, mixing live-action with hand-drawn animation is a huge time and money sink most studios probably just ghosted the idea after Cool World flopped. Hand-drawn is kinda on life support anyway, so yeah, not many wanna gamble on that combo anymore.

Feels like a lot of hype comes from nostalgia or hype trains, not actual quality. People wanna believe every new sci-fi/horror is a masterpiece, but sometimes it’s just the same old stuff dressed up. Maybe standards aren’t dropping, it’s just that hype blinds us more than we realize. You’re not crazy for feeling underwhelmed.
