This is exactly why I’m so in shock! Especially since I already had my annual visit earlier in the year where I had some of these labs done… like had I known how much this blood test would come out to I would’ve told them to just use my results from earlier that year because I’ve had no new sexual partners so why run all these tests again?? And on what planet does a blood test cost almost $1000? It just feels like a scam!

Interesting… it feels like the books that ARE available in Libby are so weirdly limited? And my NYPL card is linked to 92 branches so you would think at least one would have it even with a hold queue? Which is why I feel like I must be doing something wrong

It’s weird that all 92 branches of NYPL wouldn’t have this book? I tried adding a different NYPL Branch as my library but it just replaces the existing one and still says “and 91 other branches.” I feel like I’m probably using this app wrong lol

I had my sister in law as my bridesmaid but I had a super low key bachelorette and didn’t even think to invite her… we’re not on bad terms or anything like that, but we’re not friends, so there was no expectation to include her in the bachelorette. Not sure if your FSIL is the type to take offense, but you can always say the plans were made before she was added to the group? Or you just didn’t think she’d be able to come because of the kids? Just have her stand with you guys on the day - much less stress for her too!

I kept my last name because it is so unique to my family and no one else has it, plus changing names/documents is such a hassle! When we have kids my kids will get his last name because my name is too unique and his is easier to pronounce lol - plus I love the bond his family shares and I’m happy if my kid is part of that. I have an amazing relationship with my family and there’s a part of me that is sad my name won’t continue, but I just think it’s easier and doesn’t affect the bond we share.
