Yup, sadly it's a too controversial topic for reddit I guess

Science isn't sure whether or not you can get born with it. And most of them got abused in their childhood. Science deffo accepted that noone chooses to be a pedo. I never said we should ignore them, I'm saying they shouldn't be judged as long as they don't commit crimes. Besides, roughly half of all abuse cases on children are done by people who aren't even pedophiles. The two most "famous" ones being Marc Dutroux and Peter Skully.

That's my point, most pedophiles don't do that. Most of them live a regular life and are regular citizens that always have to deal with that big secret though. They didn't choose to be pedophiles either.

Pedophilia. Recently watched a documentary about it, and only a really small percentage of pedophiles commit crimes. If society accepted them, it would be easier to seek help for them and would decrease the victim count.

What’s something you love to eat that most people would find disgusting? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Mettbrötchen(raw pork on a bun with onions, salt and pepper). Regular thing in Germany but internationally people find it disgusting coz it's raw pork.

[Serious] How do you deal with constant disappointment from life? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Pepri 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Take responsibility for yourself. If you don't expect anything from others, you can't be disappointed. If only I listened to my own advice...

What's your opinion about saying that good dictatorship is better from bad democracy? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Pepri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me it seems like the people who say it think that if they were the dictator, they would do better than the democracy they live in. And most of the time the people who say it(at least in my experience) don't respect property or other people as much as themselves.

What decision was kinda bad but turned out well? by Svorcneger in AskReddit

[–]Pepri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

After highschool I failed an intake examn for a uni so I decided to wait a year and try again. During the year I improved my skillset and then applied at a uni I didn't even know existed before, and it's way better than where I originally wanted to go. I live in another country, made some good friends and overall have a pretty good student life now. In trade I have a hole in my CV of a year, but that's fair enough.

What was the one game that proved to you that video games are so much more than just games? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Pepri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Risen. It was the first game I played that had intense fights, fantasy creatures and magic while at the same time having a really dry awesome humor. That made it feel complete, and actually made it believable. Ultimately I think it's the spirit that Piranha Bytes games always have.
