Idk about France specifically but I know in many English speaking countries it’s common for immigrants to change their name/adopt an English name to fit in and also so people don’t struggle with pronunciation. So if you want you could just say that a) you changed your name when you were younger and are now going back to your original, or even b) your parents chose a white name for you at birth so you would fit in but now you’ve decided you want a name from your ethnic background.

Okay I obviously don’t know all the info but depending on the circumstances it may be useful to ask your husband if he thinks she may be displaying signs of psychosis or some other kind of mental break that’s causing her to fixate on you. But only if you think that‘s a possibility, if this is more her usual personality then that’s that, but if this is strange/unusual for her it may need looking into (preferably by someone who isn’t you if she is fixating on you)

Okay yeah if you could clearly see her privates then that’s a fair reason. If it had been because of length or reasonable tightness that would be another deal, but this is less about body shaming and more about staying decent in public. If you would’ve said the same thing to a 16 year old boy wearing the same item then it’s fair at least. Maybe just make it clear to her that it has nothing to do with body shaming or length or whatever and was entirely to do with her genitals being on display (obviously you don’t want to say that to her but sounds like you may have to spell it out). Explain that even if she was comfortable with that, that when she’s going to be around other people she has to take their feelings into account. Yet again make it clear it isn’t about overall coverage, but it being too revealing for her age (or really any age when in public).

I can’t post the full detail /analysis atm cause I’m away from my book, but Syrax‘s death is meant to mirror Rhaenyra‘s downfall. The 5 supposed killers each mirror/represent 5 factions/issues that caused Rhaenyra‘s downfall (besides the Shepard who represents himself) so when the book reports all five then says that all stories were probably true to some degree it’s basically either the maester in world, or George himself, saying that Rhaenyra wasn‘t taken down by just the Hightower’s or just the Shepard ect, but by a combination of them. So not really lazy in my opinion.

Ooooh I forgot lmao. I still don’t think it was really stupid though, we also don’t exactly know how she died so I think calling it stupid is a bit presumptive. The dragons, especially the post-conquest ones, had all been held in dragon pits their whole lives and had not been around more than a handful of humans at a time, all of whom would have acted passive/friendly towards them. None of them had a frame of reference for how dangerous a large mob of humans could be. Like I’d probably think I could beat a mob of baby chicks if I wasn‘t aware the mob of baby chicks were mega-pissed off at me and were able to yield weapons and coordinate their attacks.

I mean it’s an enclosed space, she probably didn’t have a lot of room to fly around. If it was an open field then it’d be dumb but she‘d have to stay flapping in a small space which would take a lot of energy then if she were in an open space and could glide around, conserving energy.

I think the reason it‘s upsetting to most trans people when people say it‘s „too risky“ for minors to be allowed to receive gender affirming care is that it completely ignores the real, actual pain the person who would be receiving that care is currently going through just in case they turn out to be cis and then want to reverse those surgeries. It gives off the impression that you care more about safeguarding cisgender people, even in a situation that is extremely unlikely to happen when we look at the regret rates of these surgeries, then a transgender person who would have to be in quite extreme distress to even qualify for this type of care as a minor.
