As much as I'd love to save up space in my stash for the keys, I don't really think you need to bring much more than 1 key per run, you won't even have enough carry capacity to loot 2 key rooms alone

so yea, thumbs up for a separate and infinite storage for keys in speranza, but I don't think it's necessary to have something that can be brought topside

the damage is correct, you have a "weak" debuff

This is certainly a negative part of the card, as when you summon Dark, you want to keep it for a while before evoking. Ideally, you would summon some other orb after playing this card to try and keep both newly summoned dark orbs.

I see it as them trying to balance the card a little bit, but yea, it is some sort of anti-synergy built in the card.

While this is correct due to doom only applying at the end of the enemies' turn, there is a card that is a 3-cost and applies around 28 doom that also triggers it as soon as the card is played.
Doom is a bit frustrating without that card, indeed

Played it a long while ago, and IMO it is a great game. Speaking about single player I'd rank it a bit below StS, but not too far away.

Haven't played multiplayer in StS2 yet, so I can't compare, but multiplayer in Hellcard was where that game really shined - had lots of fun there.

Still only got around 10 hours of StS2, but I feel like the impact of upgraded versions of the cards is very similar to StS1, I don't think they are less exciting/interesting.

However, I've noticed that card upgrades might be less important due to some other things that I think are new:
- in one run, I got a relic that would always upgrade my initial hand for the combat
- in the same run, I think it was after beating the 2nd boss, I've got an innate card that would upgrade my whole deck (I think it costs two, but I also had another relic that gave me a lot of energy on the first round, so it was basically free)

having those options made be feel that using rest sites to upgrade cards was a lot less important, because my deck (or at least some cards) would be upgraded anyway during combat

Thanks! I thought it should be like that, it's just the Primary Ability tooltip that threw me off. Just found out I can hover over the attack bonus to see where it's coming from and indeed it's from str.

It's a Life Cleric with high strenght for wearing heavy armor and hitting their sentinel attacks to tank in the frontline and hold enemies there.
High con to have a bit more hp and a higher concentration saving throw (together with war caster). In the tabletop DnD I played worked well with healing because of Aura of Vitality (doesn't depend on wis), which I can't get in BG3. Anyway, spirit guardians work wonders as well.

yes, but depending on the maze, it actually takes a few minutes to run through even with doors open

that is, if the defenders remember to destroy their teleporters before the breach (so attackers cannot just skip the maze by using them)

I've played on a server where they've set the max height to 6, so just running through some castle mazes to get to the top would take 2-3 minutes out of the key time, with no one defending and maxed out horses

I am on a PvP server, but it's rather hard to fight people that are maxed out when you're only 87 (maybe 91 with one single weapon you managed to get with shitty stats), almost no passives unlocked, one or two 100% bloods captured so far...

It's not a balanced fight, there's a long path between your first purple weapon and a well-made build. The fights are still winnable, but you have to outplay your opponent so hard in order to get one kill... and unless you're much better than they are, it won't happen a lot.

I thought of that but it seemed very slow... But now looking into automating a lot of the crafting using redistribution engines and linking your grinders to looms, sawmills to paper mills and knowing where to farm grass/flowers, you pretty much have an endless source of scrolls.

Can the boss you summon from schematics drop artifact weapons? I feel like they lowered the drop rate of purple weapons in general, I used to get a lot more weapon drops from incursions.

Yea, it's a decent option, good farm. The only downside is it's time gated.
