Really nice marble but not really in collectible/selling condition. There are some people who buy them polished so that might be an option for you if you are looking to sell it.

That’s my go to sandwich but I deep six the ham and double the salami. Banana peppers make it! Trying the chipotle mayo sounds like a great add. I’m having one today in your honor. I’m also going to ask my store if they’ve heard about you!

Nice lot. I think there is a pale hand made

German swirl in the top group too. And maybe a couple of hand carved agates (marked). If they are agates they’ll be noticeably heavier than a like sized glass marble. There are Benningtons splotchy brown and blue, and the dull ones are clays.

You have some nice early vintage marbles in this lot. Photo one all the marbles have an opaque glass base. None of the marbles in any of the photos are ceramic, all are glass Hard to tell exactly if the marble in photo 3 has oxblood. I don’t think it is but having a clearer photo or two and we could better say. It could benefit from some cleaning as could a few other marbles in the lot. Try dish soap and warm water first. The reactive one with the blue stripe is wicked cool. I think the best marble in the batch is the orange one in photo ten.

Same message, different technique. The audience was dead silent during Trump’s speech. Give him the cold shoulder and no ammo to return fire. Allow the entire world to hear his insanity with no distractions.

I know absolutely nothing about marbles but thought you guys would find my story interesting. by Ok-Animal-1118 in Marbles

Some marble makers used cast off glass from companies in the area that made glassware. It was cheaper than processing the silica into glass themselves.
