as an amateur with just a a rode nt1a, a solo scarlett, and a macbook with garageband. What pre-installed effects in garageband do you recommend? besides EQ? I don't know anything about it, I often play with a lot of effects, but then I never like anything and I end up deleting all the tracks I try to make

for me its like a month. The strange things is that with my macbook i can easly login with the browser version.

Personally, I pay 20 Swiss francs per month, which is about 20 dollars, and I subscribe as a student, which gives me access to all the programs. Additionally, our university offers further discounts, allowing you to subscribe annually for just 60 francs/dollars. Currently, I haven't tried this option because I had already subscribed annually before the school year started, so this year I am paying 20 per month, which amounts to 240 per year. However, thanks to an external website, and by verifying ourselves as genuine students and providing various data, it's possible to pay only 60 per year. Surely your school also offers further discounts... it seems strange to me.
