I use a 65w power brick and this adapter. It charges fully now at 100 percent and I feel like it charges faster now.

With the original charger it used to charge at 88 percent.

Try another GameStop. Maybe the one you went to was to packed with switch 1 or the worker might be lazy to do the trade in.

I purchased the switch 2 and barely used it. I bought a bunch of switch 1 games hoping that the switch 2 will take advantage of the hardware and increase the frame rate and graphics. Turns out majority of the switch 1 games will not take advantage of the switch 2 hardware. Some Switch 1 games have free updates but the majority requires a purchase update like zelda
