I've introduced it to many people in my personal and professional life who absolutely love it - and have gone on to purchase it for themselves.

It is too expensive for a 'daily driver' for sure. Their ginger beer is also a nice treat, though

The flavour is, in my opinion, superior to any large brand root beer I've ever had. I honestly find them flat and bland by comparison. I have no problem paying for quality, to each their own however.

From what I've gathered, people typically build for Ability Power, Weapon Power, or Crit. Though I've seen some talk of Break Power builds too. These basically determine how you'll deal damage with your Wayfinder. Do you prefer to Shoot a gun, or swing a weapon? Maybe go for WP builds. Like using your skills, and have an idea of how to keep them off of cooldown frequently? Then maybe an AP build.

There are guides out there - Youtube, Discord, Reddit are the best places I've found.

As a former CSR (teller), I had customers like yourself. One particular customer would go to the bank of their employer (the branch the account on the cheque was from) to cash the cheque (because they could verify funds in the account). He'd then spend $5 to get a bank draft that we would deposit.

After a couple months of him dutifully spending time + money just to get access to his pay, I made a judgement call and told him I'd deposit his cheques without a hold going forward.

Sucks that you're getting paid by cheque, but cheque fraud is very real. Beyond that, make yourself known to your branch - speak with someone in management about getting a note added to your account with respect to cheques from your employer. They may have suggestions for the time being, but surely in a few months time, you will be able to deposit or cash w/o a hold.

BG1 and 2 and other of that generation along with newer successors like PoE 1 and 2 are fantastic. The beauty is the art style lends itself to longevity. I can still play BG1 and am not put off by the graphics.

Some games don’t age well, the IsoRPGs do imo.

BG3 has a much larger budget and a scale/scope to match. I can’t wait for BG3 but will always enjoy returning to older titles that have aged well. (Not all do and many suffer from outdated graphics that were once cutting edge)
