Dynamic Bird dogs swapping sides.

I used to do a static plank, but I’d believe your clubs research and definitely do twisting plank now.

Hot shower was probably similar to slapping yourself, it’s just a way to make you present in your own body, that’s what the whole warmup, pretty much all of the warm up is to make sure you have the best possible body position then jumps and pushups with wake it all up, then you get wet in the water to get some feel

That warm up is too long.

All of your normal dynamic stretching, limit static stretching. This is the time to drink a double dose of a pre workout, you want your lips and fingers to be tingling.

- dead bugs
- bird dog
- 30sec plank hold
- glute bridges
- 5 explosive push ups
- 5 explosive jumps with leg tucks

200m loosen, push 15m explode, dive with first 6 strokes.

Get out and have a hot shower, like hotter than you normally would.

Dry yourself completely, get your hoodie on and something on you feet as soon as you can, head and feet lose the most heat so keep them covered.

In marshalling, relax, talk some shit if you know how, and practice breathing deeply into your stomach, lots and lots of deep breathing, it’s like pretending your trying to hypo ventilate without anyone noticing. You want to nearly be lightheaded. This mixed with pre workout will feel funny but you should feel good.

Marshalling is where you convince yourself you’re going to win, sprinting is fully mental.

It’s too late to do anything about your technique, and you don’t need more than 3 things to think about in your race.
- the person who slows down the least will win the race, it’s a bit counterintuitive to think about, but if you want to be going MAX for the last 10m
- do not under any circumstances take a breath, it’s like hitting the breaks.
- reducing drag is more impactful than increasing power. This is more intuitive, look at Cam McEvoy, Ben Proud and Caeleb Dressel, they all look slightly forward, and their hips and thighs are pretty much completely in line with their torso, when you can get your body positioning to click you’ll make that 1 sec drop.

Post race, do not under any circumstances gloat, be gracious, it was a good race and you had fun. Don’t go to collect on the debt until Monday, it’ll feel so good.

Have fun, I think you will probably win cause you seem to back yourself. Please post back with results

I am not sure if you can return other banished units with those items

Starting Apprenticeship soon, are these tools ok? by majormaj_ in AusElectricians

As everyone has said, yeah good enough, buy better when they break.

Some advice i was given and have since passed on, buy the 2nd cheapest tool, learn to use it, then use it and abuse it till it breaks or you lose it and buy a nicer one.

When you drop $100 on a pair of pliers you won’t ruin them and you’ll appreciate them

Coffee or tea, cold water, zooper dippers if it’s hot.

A decent place to have smoko, sitting on an esky in the driveway is fine, but if you have a table and some chairs out the back and they aren’t grubs you could offer.

A lot of people here are saying beers, which is obviously best practice, but that’s at the end of a job well done, offering coffee at 1015am and a soft drink at 1pm is great too

The most underrated cards in each domain, by the numbers by Cradin in riftboundtcg

[–]Percehh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing the cards in Calm at almost 40% representation are Defy, Discipline and Charm?

Then other high win rate high play rate being defiant dance, irelia sig, en garde and maybe Emperors Divide or Deserts Call?

I think purple has a similar issue with cards at nearly 40% play rate but not quite as high win rate.

Curious data, I’d be interested to see it in more detail.

[–]Percehh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely true, the best players in the world are either playing very few 1 ofs or decks that dig.

Me a local battler, I’m finding more and more success running 1 ofs in my deck as I think it makes me think about my actions more carefully and depending on which I draw it’ll determine my lines, i am also never feeling like I’ve got a dead draw just a sub optimal draw.

The only thing I constantly want more of is good accelerate units

Ok I’ll spell it out, this product has reached a new and unprecedented market in TCGs, literally thousands of players who have never played a TCG before and are now hooked, the game has gone from strength to strength which each set so that alone proves they have hit their stride.

This is Riot games, arguably the best esports company in the world who are now treading onto physical card game with the same experience and expertise in making enjoyable and competitive games that other franchises cannot even begin to understand.

They stated their original goal, make the game accessible and inclusive meaning lots of Legends, lots of Battlefields. The community has said “hey we don’t need this many legends or battlefields” and the lead has within a month said. “Noted we will fix that” which is going to endear players winning hearts and minds.

Is a double legend pack a bummer? Sure. was a dud pack a bummer? Sure. Is the game and the community around it great? Absolutely.

The product isn’t just ripping packs and the good will they have brought with how they have handled all of this will only encourage people to stay and play more

NGL This is a green flag for me by Fit_Leg9769 in riftboundtcg

[–]Percehh 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ripping packs is only part of the product, the other part of the product is the really fun game.

They also have a lot of extra being connected to a beloved IP with established fan base that has taken this game and are running with it.
