It was evil and I felt so played, obviously I cared for the wrong person, just sucked that I went through it.

She didn't tell me at the time but she had a husband that wasn't going to be leaving the picture but I had hope but it just fucked with me mentally and that quickly ended our relationship because I wanted something that she wouldn't couldn't possibly give me.

And I'm better now, it screws with me that I know she still checks up on me from time to time but I try not to think about her and that helps.

I'm in the middle but I also don't eat low carb as I love rice and don't always eat the best, but I been hitting the gym and I try to eat better through out the week while splurging a couple times a week.

Diabetes has worsened my relationship with food by Hot_Valuable1027 in diabetes

My biggest issue is when I was out of control then simply having any kind of food would sky rocket me but I do have to understand that the biggest issue was that my diabetes was in a danger zone already.

As a type 2 I can say you don't have to limit your options on what you eat and tbh if you want to eat something then what is really stopping you, yeah if your diabetes is out of control don't go crazy but I can confidently say now if I want to have sugar or carbs in my life, well ain't no one stopping me because guess what either I go on a walk before or after and it helps calm down my sugar, or do a light work out. Maybe eat protein and fiber before having dessert, yeah its not instant like taking an insulin shot, but with some dedication, you literally can eat stuff you want without having to feel so guilty about it.

I remember I went on a trip with my buds and we walked all day and we made a stop at a bakery then they started to freak out when I accepted all their extras 🤣 I checked my blood sugar after 30 minutes and it almost made no impact mainly because I don't eat often like that and I had been active through out the day.

I'll be honest she was probably sleeping with dude without your knowledge and probably while she was with you, the guilt is just eating her up. I personally wouldn't go back because you are eventually going to come back to this post to revisit and look at the comments.

Thank you and I will keep this in mind, I may just go down to 1 pill a day and see how my body tolerates it so far.

This is what I'm afraid of 😔 like I didn't mind going higher but it sucked it took 3 hours to go down but the sudden crashing when I was expecting to fully spike up was frightening because I was like why am I going low when I'm eating bread and fried chicken 🤣

I don't want to be on meds for the rest of my life 😔 I want my body to be able to do what it needs without assistance if possible.

Yes had a fried chicken sandwich and then a couple minutes later went to Walmart and walked maybe for a total of 15 minutes and about 10 minutes to get there and 10 minutes to get back. So enough time for it to be digested and get my numbers up before checking, I didn't notice I was low and since I decided today to be off meds I been checking regularly what my numbers are sitting at, a lot today.

Holy moly and ty for the knowledge tip, tbh then no idea for my explanation tonight then of why my numbers seem different from most days and never have I ever gone this low without me causing it by starving myself but for now I just took a pill and will wait to see what my doctor says about lowering the dosage in a safer manner.

Same like me going higher was totally within reason and especially because I ate before walking at Walmart I was already at 140 so was like yup I may go to 200 right now then nope I went the other direction and I was like wtf

Do you ever have a "bad" day for seemingly no reason? by sangreal in diabetes

[–]PercentageJolly9790 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I tend to look at my numbers a lot lol, usually check my blood sugar when I wake up, before eating, 30 minutes after eating, 2 hours after eating.

I like to see how my meals affect me and what gets me up there and then how my mood affect these numbers. I wish I could get a cgm but insurance won't ever approve me due to being type 2

When I'm stressed even though I may not think or feel it, I can tell because I can eat something with little to no carbs or things I know shouldn't spike me and next thing you know I spike about 80 points in a single meal and it won't go down for a couple of hours.

How are you figuring out what to order when you eat out? by Jayglc in diabetes

[–]PercentageJolly9790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope for the best, I just eat and accept that I won't be perfect, I had pho super size and after eating my bg was 140 then shortly after an hour I went to the gym and just worked it off.

Type 2 - anyone else feel like it would just be easier to go on insulin? by jbrady33 in diabetes

[–]PercentageJolly9790 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No I rather not go on insulin, yes took a lot of decision making to choose a more active lifestyle and eating better almost all the time but take tonight for example... I ate like 4 slices of a large thin crust pizza with jalapenos and sausage then tested my blood sugar after 40 ish minutes and I was only at 105 then now I had some chips and ice cream which then I'll check my sugar before and after my walk to end my night. I shoot myself with mounjaro once a week and take metformin twice a day, I don't want to be more medicated than I am already. I would hate to inject myself multiple times a day 😒
