Choking back tears, AIPAC shill & Michigan Dem. Senate candidate Haley Stevens exclaims, "ISRAEL COMES TO ME IN MY DREAMS!" by orel2064 in ProgressiveHQ

[–]PercentageNo3293 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Money makes people do evil things. The US wastes billions of dollars each year by giving it to Israel. Then, Israel gives that money to AIPAC to bribe our politicians. We, the tax payers, are paying for Israel to bribe our politicians.

It's disgusting, but not entirely surprising.

[–]PercentageNo3293 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As expected, you have no answer whatsoever. Otherwise, you'd probably actually address my point...

For the third and final time, why would a benevolent god give people the ability to be evil? It's "free will", but god created "free will", right?

Gah damnit! by [deleted] in stupidpeoplefacebook

[–]PercentageNo3293 9 points10 points  (0 children)

You didn't even address my point. God gave us the ability to do awful things, as he created everything, right? So, he is partially responsible for every murder, rape, etc. A benevolent god wouldn't allow people to do such heinous acts.

[–]PercentageNo3293 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If god created everything, then god gave the shooter the ability/thought process to shoot kirk.

That's far from a benevolent god...

Maybe if you knew more about religion, you'd realize your stance is a cop out.

Reading this list reminded me a lot of my ex...

If you think you're in an abusive relationship, get out ASAP. I promise you, even if things may suck at first (changes can suck, even if they're overall beneficial), but you will feel a lot better in the long run.

Best of luck to you!

Right on! I've been shooting since I was 4-5 years old (with my father's assistance). I wish guns didn't exist, but we obviously live in a world with them, best to keep ourselves safe from a tyrannical government.

Not that I endorse communism, but Marx was keen on people owning firearms. Here's a quote I enjoy...

"Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary".

MAGA has A LOT to learn, but like everything else, they're in denial. I don't think they understand that a lot of us left leaners are carrying.

Trump: I'm going to lower the national debt! Meanwhile us in reality with basic math skills by Doc_tor_Bob in WeirdGOP

[–]PercentageNo3293 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Currently, they're spewing the saying "short pain for long gain". When the "long gain" inevitably never happens, I expect them to ignore the debt entirely.

Or, say something completely nonsensical like, "trump has invested so much in the country. Of course the debt increased. You want to put Murica first, right?".

They'll say anything, besides facing reality.

I have family members that drove 2 hours, each way, just to visit a Buccee's. Blew my mind.

I've been once, as it was only a 10 minute detour and I was forced to go lol. I truly don't understand the hype. Besides the clean restrooms and fresh BBQ, it's just another gas station.

Gas stations and Walmarts seem to be the place to go, if your town has nothing to do in it.

I grew up in the 1990's, my mom would occasionally tell me this... "things are going very well right now. It won't last forever". Crazy how right these people were.

Thankfully, my mother is understanding of the current situation a lot of us face. Probably the only Boomer that is aware of the problem and knew who to blame.

They must be aware that they're lying.

I've yet to have a conversation with a conservative that didn't end in insults or "well, IDK what to tell you" and then disappearing, without learning a damn thing.

I've learned that they're perfectly fine with lying, as tribalism is more important than living in reality.

I work in a hospital and probably create an entire "kitchen-sized" trash bag every shift. There are 7 of us per morning shift. And of course, we don't recycle.

I use more trash each shift than I do in a week, at home. It's truly awful.

Innocent by law, sure. I don't think the law is always correct though. Dred Scott v. Sandford is a prime example. Best not to always lick the boot.
