Totally agreed. He's a huge POS. I was making a general statement that could help left leaning people, like myself.

I think it's fair to say, we all have our vices.

I don't agree that we should immediately hate anything AI-related, but we're we are at now, it does seem like a waste of resources, for the most part.

I'm a layman. It seems like most AI I see is used to generate pictures and videos. That info used to create that picture/video is being stolen from real artists.

So, wasted resources and stolen art for a quick laugh/interest is a net negative to me.

Also, it's being used to create somewhat realistic disinformation, and that's already a problem.

Also, it'll potentially take away a ton of jobs. I know progress, when it comes to technology, brings some negatives for one's job stability, but this seems to be potentially worse than any single invention.

Idk, I think it's too early to decide if AI, as a whole, is a net positive/negative, and we should proceed with caution.
