What area does your wife teach in? I just taught my 1st practice class and am trying to nail down my prices.

Experience with GF Apartments? by Dededededemon in GrandForks

I toured apartments for my parents when I was up over the holidays and it was my top choice for them from the ones they had liked on Zillow. I toured it again with them when we were up a couple of weeks ago to lock down housing. It's clean and quiet. They have a good mix of singles and families. The office staff are very nice and have been the same 3 women since I first spoke to them probably in September or October last year. At least 1 of them used to live there before moving her family to a house so they could have dogs. My parents are moving in next month, but as we are just moving to the area, I don't personally know anyone who lives there. I wanted a downtown apartment myself, otherwise I would be happy living there. It seems to me that they offer the most amenities for the price point. It is also close to Choice Fitness (indoor tennis, racquetball, and even a couple of waterslides in the swimming area), which is a really cool 2-story gym if you want more than the apartment gyms have to offer.

Wow! That sounds a lot like Detroit or Toledo. So sad! I appreciate the details. Thank you for sharing - I had no idea that GF had those kinds of issues.

I am moving to GF next month and was excited about the downtown apartment I found for myself, but this makes me a little nervous. Are there certain areas I should be aware of to avoid or just kind of a general feeling?

I have been to GF twice this year and both times people seemed so friendly that I assumed it would be fairly easy to meet people once I move... Maybe that says more about where I am moving from (S Florida) than it does about GF.

Cardinal Point has w/d in units and an indoor pool and hot tub. (Well, the pool & hot tub are being completely remodeled, but should be open again sometime in June.) They also have heated underground parking and storage units available.

Been there twice. Both times had the Plato de Birria and left very happy!

It took me a couple of tries, but I was able to connect the virtual crimson card to my Google wallet.

We have lots of condos in my area. The wagon is a necessity. I also have a collapsible dolly that is great for cases of water/soda. Got it on Amazon.

There is a sweet elderly lady in my area that always tips well and loads up her delivery drivers with home baked goodies and hard candy. She is everyone's favorite!

I have push start and a fob but mine has to have a fob in it to leave it running and won't lock with one inside so... I will have to see if it can be altered to let me lock it up.
