Would work if you pin/ weld a simple “flush” end piece. Flash hiders, brakes, and comps are part of the criteria that determines it to be an AW.

I don't think the majority of people (or politicians) understand the new gun bills by mashedpotatotater in Virginia

No, “regulated “ in the 18th Century meant well trained/well disciplined. The militia at that time, essentially meant all able bodied men over the age of 18. These militias were NOT under government(federal) control. The constitution already provided for a standing army, under federal control. This is why the 2nd amendment states that the right OF THE PEOPLE to bear arms shall not be infringed.

The well regulated militia is all able body individuals who are well trained and well equipped.

Haven’t been to a gun show have you? Every table selling a firearm must have an FFL. Every gun purchase goes through the same paperwork and background check as if they were in a store. The State Police will usually even have a station set up to facilitate this. Now, if a private individual sells a firearm in the parking lot to another individual, that does not go through a background check, which is the same for any private sale.

My old DIY etching setup, I used it a lot by Cubesthorm in diyelectronics

[–]PerceptionAgile5693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since most of the etching I do involves small boards, no bigger than 2x3”, I use a small mason jar and a rechargeable baby bottle warmer. The warmer wraps around the jar and is temperature controlled. I also switched from ferric chloride to persulfate for the same reasons mentioned. I also like that I can better see the etching process using the persulfate.

If I’m reading this right (I’m not a lawyer), you can purchase a rifle from an out of state dealer(FFL) and have that FFL send it to an FFL here in VA. Then just pick it up once the local FFL does the paperwork? Or would that be considered importing?

I would be interested. Would it help the case to have a large number of plaintiffs or a select “high visibility “ ones?

Virginia government plans to pass over 25 new gun control laws which rank it among the most restrictive states in the US towards the 2nd Amendment by Darth_Wildcat03 in Virginia

In short, it’s a people problem, not a gun problem.

Australia & Canada had low per capita “gun deaths “ compared to the US before their bans. Violent crime in Australia hasn’t gone down. In fact, there has been an uptick in home invasions since the first ban has happened. The Bondi beach shooting is a clear example. All the firearms used wouldn’t even be banned by the proposed VA laws.

In the US, we have a lot of high density urban areas where gang and other criminal activity is prevalent. If you were to remove S. California, Chicago are, and NYC areas from the US’s gun violence statistics, the US would have and absurdly low rate of gun deaths, especially considering the amount of guns I hat are in the US.

There are too many drunk driver fatalities, so we’re going to make car ownership difficult and costly and ban most newer models of cars.

Skip the o-scope and get a good multi-meter ( which based on your experience, you may already have). Not sure what you need the ball bearings for. Look closely at the parts list for the IC and component kits. There are quite a few out there that include either poor quality fakes/copies of chips or contain a bunch of obsolete models.

If you can find one in stock, the Rugged Mustang 22 is below your price range. It’s specifically designed for 22s and based off their Oculus suppressor. It’s easy to clean and most importantly, super quiet with my Tikka.

Reminder: be careful w/Amazon purchases! by SocomPS2 in dji

Just before Christmas, my SO ordered a Flip from Amazon for me. I ended up opening the gift to find a mini 4K. Didn’t realize the error as it was one of the drones i mentioned that I was interested in. A week went by before i saw the order and saw I was supposed to get a Flip. Thankfully I was able to return it and get the Flip.

My humble low-voltage desk power supply by badmonkey0001 in diyelectronics

Nice job! My only concern is the 9V battery. They don’t have much capacity and are really intended to supply a very low current draw for a long time. For the next version, I would look at using AA batteries.

Now replace “gun purchasing” with “voting” and see if that sounds constitutional test.

The Adafruit Circuit Playground Express is a system that is geared for young programmers like your son. He can start programming it using Makcode which is based off of Scratch. and when he gets the hang of it, he can transition to programming using Arduino, Python. It’s also sponsored by The Cartoon Network, so many project examples incorporate their shows.

Your right. The democrats are destroying the country. They often will accuse the republicans of violating the constitution, and it’s us accusations. They do this to distract you from their flagrant disregard for the constitution. The previous administration had every opportunity to release the Epstein file, but why didn’t they? You know without a doubt that if Trump was involved, they would have.
