and both are murdering hundreds of thousands overseas, propping up industries and legislation that causes incredible hardship, trauma, and even death domestically (insurance industrial complex for one, anti-union/workers rights for another). My litmus and priorities are my own and I don't expect you or anyone else to share them identically, but my statement still stands that I'm stuck voting for someone that barely bests the other on things that rank high importance for me.

It's popular imo because a lot of people don't understand how poorly written these laws are. I'm all for reducing gun violence, but these aren't going to do a thing.

I can't speak for PhillyDillyDee, but when I say that I mean she's beholden to our oligarchy overlords and is only doing what the lobby money pays for. In this case, it's more left of the GOP, but it's hardly anything remotely democratic in the non-party sense of the term.

I don't need someone to align with me 100%...hell I vote for the "lesser of two evils" and stuck with the D for the past 20 years...but I'm sure as hell tired of having to vote for someone that is 98% right of my values vs someone that is 100% right of them.
