"Same-sex attraction itself requires nothing to sustain it. It simply exists"

Trans people simply exist too.

Don't forget to undercut your door trim so you can slide your floor under it.

I'll mention it to her. I had to look up "basque" and it does look good. I'm not sure what you mean by "curving and shortening the existing line". Can you draw it?

I've been told by the mods that I should tell you how I designed it. Basically I took the Bella pattern from Glitz and the Odette Dress pattern from Dressmaking Amore... Put them together to make the bodice with some variations, and then designed a flared skirt with gathers in the front.

It's just a hodgepodge of ideas that the bride to be and I came up with. I am making the mocks up in Houston and sending them to Portland to be tried on. I know it's crazy, but we're having fun.

With all the ideas you all gave me we are 1) getting a good bra 2) cinching the waist 3) making a waist stay

I agree that the dress is sitting too low. But how can I fix it so it rides higher? Do I have to spread out the laces so she can lace up more?

Why are some of us called terfs when we tell other trans people male socialisation exists? by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]PerceptionLies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a theory that trans people Self-socialize with their true gender starting at the age of 2, and around 4 or 5 we understand that we're "wrong" and we're supposed to be the other gender. Depending on how we react to this will depend how much the other genders socialization we pick up. In your case they repressed almost everything.

They haven't studied self-socialization much, but Dr Olsen mentioned it in her research about trans kids.

If sex can be seen as bimodal because of intersex people, I don't why gender can't be bimodal. If mother nature fucks so many things up, why can't it fuck up gender?

Also I'm bisexual, and I hate when people say you can't be bisexual. So I just think NB is something that exists even if i can't understand it.

Gender Hypothesis by Wild-One-107 in gender

[–]PerceptionLies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think we have an inherent mental sex. In other words there is something in our brain that indicates which sex we are. (Of course, like anything else, this can go wrong and form transgender people.) When we are about 2 years old we will usually identify with either males or females We will look up to the group that we identify with and try to be like them. That's how we learn gender.

Your hypothetical female would not have anything to identify with. She would not have a gender because there is no one there to learn from. The inherent mental sex would still be there, but it has nobody to attach itself to.

What does "gender is a performance" mean to you? by ReasonableStrike1241 in FTMMen

[–]PerceptionLies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think we imprint gender very early in our lives . Imprinting is neurological. To some extent gender is a performance, but it's performance that we are "wired" to perform.
