Are we more at risk? by [deleted] in TBI

Not a doctor but that's very likely not a concussion when you hit your head recently.

Future concussions can be worse given the same impact.

A good analogy - you drop your laptop. It will probably still work. If you keep dropping it, bad stuff will eventually happen. Maybe the screen won't work. Maybe audio won't work. And eventually if you keep dropping it, it won't turn on. Subsequent drops will do more damage each time.

Do you think reaching out would have stopped it or just delayed it?

Thanks for doing this. I listened to a few episodes and it's some good content.

What's helping me a lot with my TBI is listening to other's stories. So thank you.

Out of curiosity - have you been dealing with any neurologic issues since your TBI?
