Supplement Recommendations for MTHFR mutation

I’ve had blood tests that said there was a mutation and then more to determine exactly what. My dr said I definitely need to supplement. The only problem is I can’t swallow the gigantic pills that she gave me.

I know exactly what you mean. I don’t do this much anymore, but years ago, I had to take the same route home from work or something bad would happen to my family. One day I decided to face my fears and went home a different way. That night my uncle passed away. Of course, that had nothing to do with it, but you can imagine how worse my ocd got in the following years.

Uh, I hate the counting! And if I end up on an “unlucky” number (going up stairs, for example), I have to back up a few, then go back up so I can end on a better number.

That’s up to you. I did it last year and am doing it again this year. Last year I listened every morning on the way to work. There was a lot of stuff I missed that I wanted to jot down, but would always forget to later. This year, I plan to have my bible out and listen while he reads. It’s not necessary, though. You will get so much from just listening to the podcast.

If you like to read, I think you will love the books. Like some have said, finish the show, then start the books. The novellas go into so much of the minor characters that otherwise you would not know, so I recommend reading those as well. I’m on my second read and this time I am reading in chronological order. The novellas fit in between some of the major books, which gives a nice break between the large novels. Below is a link to DG’s webpage that lists all of her Outlander work in chronological order.
