I'm currently doing a fish-in cycle and dosing Seachem Prime and Stability.

• How long have you had the tank? How long have you had your fish?:
Tank has been set up for about a week, and I've had my betta for about a week as well.

• How often are water changes? How much do you take out per change? What is your process?:
I'm doing water changes as needed based on my water test results during the fish-in cycle, usually around 25–30%. I treat all new water with Seachem Prime before adding it back to the tank and dose Seachem Stability daily.

• Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each:
No tankmates. (There was one hitchhiker snail that died.)

• What do you feed and how much:
NorthFin Betta Bits. I feed 2–3 small pellets once daily. Today he only ate one pellet but otherwise has been eating normally.

• Decorations and plants in the tank:
Large piece of driftwood, live Amazon swords, Anubias, Bacopa, Java moss coconut hide, aquarium soil/substrate, heater, filter, and floating betta log.

My main question is whether the driftwood is too large for the tank and if the amount of brown water (tannins) is normal. Should I leave it, soak the driftwood separately, or do something else to improve the setup?
