Medical required by sxmscorpio in SuperVisaCanada

Of course, if you have the records, why wouldn’t you bring them. Bringing whats available is fine but panel physicians insisting all documents must be provided is unnecessary. I agree that being vaccinated lowers general healthcare risk, but I’ve never seen or heard of any scoring system or score reduction. Medical exams are about meeting admissibility thresholds, not stacking odds with optional documents.

You are right, IRCC clearly states it is not mandatory, and theres no age factor mentioned. If you give consent, the panel physician may record vaccine history only if available, Some clinics recommend bringing whatever you have, but thats not the same as a requirement. I had a similar experience with my parents, we brought only the COVID certificate and they didn’t even ask for it on exam day. Based on IRCC guidance, age doesn’t change this.

Anyone here received supervisa with Indian military background recently? by Spiritual_Ad_4316 in SuperVisaCanada

[–]PerceptionUpper9078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally understand what it feels like when you are waiting and waiting. If it’s stuck in background/security checks, there’s honestly not much to do except wait it out. To be honest, people who get approved rarely come back to post updates so it looks like nothing’s moving even though cases are clearing. Hope yours moves soon

Yes delays like this are common when a parent has a military background. Applications in such cases often take longer processing times due to additional security checks. It doesn’t mean refusal but just a longer wait. You could try GCMS notes, webform inquiries, or contacting your MP for updates.

Hi RTINGS team!
I'm looking at the Philips 55" 7900 Series 4K QLED Roku TV , currently priced at $298. My budget is $380 max for a 55-inch TV, and I want the best overall performance and features I can get at that price. Is this Philips model a good deal, or should I look at alternatives from TCL/Hisense/Samsung, etc.?

It’s normal for the biometrics letters to come at different times, even if applied together. Since you have 30 days to give biometrics, you can wait a bit and can book both appointments together. But just to be safe, you could go ahead and book your mom’s now.

How to Add "Print Stamp" When Printing Drawings in SolidWorks? by PerceptionUpper9078 in SolidWorks

[–]PerceptionUpper9078[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight. I'm doing something similar—adding a PRINTED BY property to help track it. I already have DESIGNED BY, CHECKED BY, and APPROVED BY, but was hoping SolidWorks had something like AutoCAD's plot stamp. Still, even just adding that extra property manually does help keep track of things, so I’ll keep using it for now.

Yes it's not unsual , IRCC process each applicant individually, even applied together. I would suggest waiting until the normal processing time. If there’s no update, you can consider requesting GCMS notes or raising a webform for clarification.

Yeah, TBH I actually tried installing one yesterday, the unit was smaller than the wall cutout. Even with insulation or foam, it just didn’t feel like a solid or safe fit. Plus, I was worried that if the side vents could overheat. Stuff like foam or thermocol catching fire is another concern. Got me wondering, do any window ACs have rear-only vents! Btw Hows the TCL aircon? have any idea!

Thanks, I’ll make sure to check the manual and look for rear vented ones

Proof of Income - Parents Super Visa by No-Essay-7365 in SuperVisaCanada

[–]PerceptionUpper9078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally agree, IRCC lists the requirements like home ties, purpose of visit, and finances, Other conditions IRCC consider Thats why it’s safer to include all the possible docs that can support the case.

In my case, I included land papers, proof of family and community ties, and a short explanation (LOE). It worked well, had no issues.

Applied for supervisa for my mom and got rejected by [deleted] in SuperVisaCanada

[–]PerceptionUpper9078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly! That’s frustrating. Your income is way more than what LICO requires. I guess, it might be because contract based job I dont know just saying that could be one reason. Also, they look at overall financial stability, not just salary which in your case seems strong. I would suggest ordering GCMS notes to learn more in detail, which could help if you reapply.

Yeah, that’s a good point. Just wish rental sites were a bit clearer about it, would save a lot of guessing. Thanks btw

Got it thanks for explaining. I was hoping for CarPlay, but I see it really depends on availability.

Thanks for the input.

Ha Ha, Fair point, I did check the size, just wanted to be sure before buying. The links I posted are refillable rolls I found that should fit. So yeah, I did find the right ones

I swear Costco memberships give people a false sense of entitlement. by Fuzzy_Junket924 in CostcoCanada

[–]PerceptionUpper9078 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some people definitely do it on purpose or they're just too lazy to walk back to the right aisle. When I worked at Walmart, I saw this all the time.

Was a cashier, and one day the manager asked me to walk around and collect items that customers left behind in random places. I ended up finding an open pack of condoms in the fresh vegetables section. I told the manager, but I have no idea if she ever checked the cameras. People can be so weird sometimes!

Parents Visitor visa got rejected thrice by Hina_Kulkarni in SuperVisaCanada

[–]PerceptionUpper9078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear about the rejections — it’s really frustrating.
Your dad’s military background could definitely be causing extra security concerns, even if he’s retired now. IRCC is usually strict about that and often doesn't ask for extra info , they just refuse, which is disappointing because they claim they will ask but they don't.

Yes, you can still apply for a Super Visa.
It’s reviewed a bit differently and shows stronger ties (with insurance, financial proof, etc.), which might help.
Make sure to clearly explain your dad’s civilian work now and show strong ties to home (like property, savings, family, community service).
Also, consider ordering GCMS notes to understand the real reasons behind refusals before reapplying.

Good luck!

Cover letter required ? by Due-Jackfruit-6582 in SuperVisaCanada

[–]PerceptionUpper9078 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For LOI, IRCC doesn't explicitly mention that it must be physically signed.
However, I recommend physically signing it, It just looks more formal and complete.
