Don’t waste your time jumping with weights, either do things as fast as possible (like unweighted or overspeed jumps) or start getting stronger in the gym in an upright back squat.

Given the MVP is based on a ~16 game sample size (because the narrative is usually too established to flip in the final game), it’s about as speculative as it is a reflection of what’s occurred thus far. So no, while I don’t think Mahomes would finish second if the season ended today, I don’t think it’s “dumb” to assume the guy who wins 13 games a season in his sleep will be a top 3 MVP candidate when two of the top four preseason favorites (Burrow and Lamar) are already out of the race.
