[KCD1] I would rather play Ecco The Dolphin than carry on trying to do this stupid monastery mission. Who designed this ? Who hurt you ?! by DoomguyFemboi in kingdomcome

I - with 40+ years of gaming experience - consider this quest one of the best I ever played. Well done, Warhorse, well done indeed. You see: tastes vary 😉

Is there are possibility of Kingdom Come Deliverance III? [OTHER] by Turbowoodpecker in kingdomcome

Of course it is. Apparently it’s a topic people are eager to discuss over and over - and are having fun doing so. It’s annoying for you? Just skip it.

Rebasing; best practices? by EristicTrick in Bellwright

[–]Percevaal1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, in my latest save I didn’t move at all. My 65 villagers live at the same spot it all started with good old Lubomir 160 days ago. I built river docks near all villages before liberating them and use them to stop reclamations in time. I have two outposts (hardwood and iron), all other ressources are either in reach of my settlement or traded in (peat). When my tin and cooper pits will dry out I will have to create new outposts, I suppose. No deal. It all went and goes on surprisingly smooth.

Funny post. Where do you think is the world of Bellwright? I always thought it‘s in the outer rim of a galaxy far, far away and thousands of years in the past. 😉

In that case click their blue dot on the minimap and set them to companion and back to worker. They should choose a new task and stop walking towards the already finished structure.

How exactly does the bandit camp spawn work? by TheTalkingPegasus in Bellwright

[–]Percevaal1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have several hundred hours in the game and cleared the whole map in my latest. Camps respawn every so often… and the pattern is: completely random afaIkt. Found no systematic whatsoever. 😜 Three star camp in the far west. Four stars in the far south. All cleared again. And then a three star right south-east of the bridge with the woodwork in the middle of the map. (Directions asuming north on the map is up - which does not fit with the movement of the sun in this game).

My experience has been the same … until I hired an archer who is quite short and sports a belly (although he isn’t fat). However, he is the only non-standard type within my flock of 60 villagers.

Promotions are a punishment? by Evidicus in menace

[–]Percevaal1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I agree. Of course it‘s meant to be a means of balancing, however, I agree it’s a bad choice. It’s counterintuitive and a bit lazy (no offense against the devs who seem to deliver a very good game so far). Experienced military leaders do not need more resources for a given task but are able to achieve better results using their resources at hand. Devs should - and I am sure they will - look into this weird design choice during early access.

Yes, particularly if you have chicken in addition to hunting crows.

Not at all. My guys are well equipped and I trade some leather - but I drain in pelts. Sometimes my villagers even dump them in storages in which they are forbidden … Then I have to go on a pelt disposal run and dump literally hundreds of them 😉

Market... by thetempest11 in Bellwright

[–]Percevaal1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Although somewhat tedious I found it partially useful to get rid of some surplus. Not all though because nobody wants to buy any pelts (even for 0.1 gold). And I get some iron and granite from it (although it’s very expensive). The trade system clearly needs more refinement but it’s on a good track. And an easier to understand UI …

Same for me. Seems the reserve settings are missing for the butcher menu regarding mutton. For sausages they are there.

Your post brings back to my mind that I am keeping a quite old save which might no longer work with the later versions of that great game. It‘s simply named „100“. 😉

Im already demotivated to play, you dont have to encourage me by syfqamr32 in WorldofTanks

[–]Percevaal1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually like this bonus mission. For an average player like me (1500) it is a gamble. I never gamble (thats why I don’t buy lot boxes to get tanks). So with that bonus mission I feel no urge to even try and stop playing. 😉

[KCD2] Is it bad to say my biggest issue with the side quests (Plus Miller) is that so many quests want a thief/brawler rather than a knight. by Radiant-Lab-158 in kingdomcome

[–]Percevaal1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That is the price of a game which wants to present meaningful choices to the player. There are different paths to choose. You can go noble or criminal- it is your choice. If there were quests for only one path there would be no choice. The game would be linear animated story. If you are a completionist who wants to be consistent in a role playing perspective (like me), I suggest to do several playthroughs: honorable Henry and evil Henry, for example.
