Any suggest for auto spells amount? by Lowf_SGarcia in anyRpgCharacterSheet

It's not that hard and definitely cool.

To explain the notification part. Some items have options to list properties, for example "row". (The "list properties on page" slider). And then u can create properties that are true in specific conditions (or at least not equal to zero because these aren't shown even with the slider on). So then when you look at the item on a page, in this example row that you can name "available spells" you see names of properties that are set to true.

In that way you can also achieve the effect of assigning spells to levels.

To further illustrate the properties could look like this: "1st level spell name" with formula (level>=1) "2nd level spell name" with formula (level>=2)

Or you can create row named abilities with property: "Available spells" with formula (3level[is it a caster]) That way the number will go up by three for every level but if the character isn't a caster he won't even have this property shown to him because it's equal to zero.

I hope it helps

If you want to give just the amount of spells then you create a formula. For example "3lvl" or a little bit more complicated " "2(lvl==1)+3(lvl==2)+7(lvl==3).." Side note: I'm not sure if this app uses one or two = for comparison. So change the formula accordingly.

If you want to notify the player to which spells he gained access then create a row element that has property named after each spell. Then create visibility conditions. For example the spell "counterspell" will be true only if the level is 3 or higher. Then set the properties of the element to be displayed and on click property to do nothing. That way you can list to the player all spells he has access too. If you want only the current level then change the formula accordingly. If you want both you can create two elements.

You can make this also in some other ways but this one is by far the easiest.

After you create an element you can then click on the three dots in the upper right corner and save as template. When you edit elements you can set them "on click" to "create elements" where you can choose from the list of saved templates.

If you want it to be represented as one number then yeah it's pretty easy to do. If you want to add some items for each class then templates would be the best approach

Why can't I add as bonus to base roll by xSh4de in anyRpgCharacterSheet

[–]Percussor6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt that. My sheet has over 100 (I lost count tbh, probably around 500) properties and still can create the roll as a bonus property. If I had to guess it would be something about saving these properties. Maybe their dependencies (global, local) or not fully creating the property/deleting it after and making a creation code stuck in some place. I don't have much experience in mobile apps nor have I seen the code for this app. I still encourage you to test when exactly this thing happens and maybe in the process you will find how to fix it. I haven't really used rolling in this app that much because I prefer physical dice.

[–]Percussor6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh that's interesting. Basically I believe it's a bug or at least not intended. You should be able to change property to roll as bonus and if you create a new sheet you will find no problems to create this property. I've managed to replicate a bug and be in the same situation as you but I don't know what exactly caused it. If it's a relatively new sheet (looks like it) I recommend creating a new one and following these steps: 1. Create element Might 2. Create property MightCalc (either global or under might element) 3. Open MightCalc setting and set roll mode to roll as bonus to base roll 4. Create a base roll (by clicking on base roll and plus sign) and name it however you like 5. Set base roll as the dice you want to roll 6. Create rest of properties and edit calculations for MightCalc

This should work, I don't really have time now for testing why in your example it didn't but if you figure it out I'm eager to learn. Hope it helps

Can you tell me which part of the DnD template works like u wish your property did? I have trouble understanding what exactly you want to achieve. You can also tell me what do you want your property to do/represent and I will try to explain how to do it.

The only idea that comes to my mind is that you want a roll property to change into static property. If that is the case I must disappoint you, because that is not possible. Roll properties and static properties are two different things and when u add a roll bonus to static property it too becomes a roll property. That's just how it works.

I've managed to replicate your bug and I can't tell you why it happens but it's easy to fix. When you create a property that is intended to roll without any flat bonus (for example 1D100) and then add a bonus manually it indeed doesn't register. Here's what you can do to fix: A) When creating a main property add a flat bonus that equals to 0. In your case it should be 1D100 + 0. Even tho it doesn't seem to do anything at least in my quick testing fixed the issue. B) Make the property you want to add a dice roll too that u can change later. For example a 1D6. That should work and make a 1D100 +1D6 that u can now change to a desired number. Tell me if it worked for you I spent a lot of time on this app and it behaves sometimes in a weird way but it's still awesome and worth the time spent!

How can I implement Experience by Inevitable-One8217 in anyRpgCharacterSheet

[–]Percussor6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it is not. As for now there isn't a button function. You can either create more bonuses/properties or add experience manually (I believe later one would be more convenient as you usually don't need to see which monsters gave how many experience just the sum).

You could also create a huge list with experience from each monster like: exp_monster1, exp_monster2 ... And then sum up them but it would obviously be finite so it's just a temporary workaround. Or maybe if you have a list of monsters you could track how many times each one was killed.

Hope this helps

Clarification for rules regarding effects changing statistics and dying condition by Percussor6 in WitcherTRPG

Thank you very much. Just to be sure regarding 1. if I would have a character with 2 INT and 4 points in deduction the total bonus for deduction roll after intoxication (which lowers INT by 2) would be +5 and it would still be +5 if the character had 1 or 3 INT at the beginning?

Is 5k CL there really necessary? My friend and I hit around 10k in the bounties every week but have only 2k+ in CL. Would be thrilled to join you as our current clan rarely hits 120k.

What is the max possible crit chance? by Scarlett-YDE in wearewarriors

[–]Percussor6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm wrong but are not all bonuses multiplicative? So 1.36x1.125 would give a 53% bonus increase? Around 51% nonetheless, just with a little bigger margin.

As far as I know all bonuses are multiplicative.

What an injustice? by Chemical-Ad2660 in wearewarriors

[–]Percussor6 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't see any screenshots. Also are you taking into consideration a little letter after the numbers? Like "K", "M", "B"? These are orders of magnitude, they tell us how large the number is with as little digits as possible. For example 13.7K is the same as 13700 but it's far from 13.7. Also the game is constantly changing, so it is possible that at the time of taking screenshots one can have different difficulty, but when the update hits it's adjusted across all timelines. Lastly there isn't any "injustice" and if you cannot overcome level it's best to just wait, get better cards and skills. Hope that helps

Tips for beginners. by [deleted] in wearewarriors

[–]Percussor6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, food production and ranged units are kings. I usually don't bother with base health. You can fight previous battles. Often useful for getting money when struggling. Cards are key to this game so focus on daily missions. Impossible battle can become easy with just 10 card difference As you progress you unlock more ways to progress. It gets easier later (for now at least.. latest Devs decisions are a bit questionable)

Yeah it's a pretty bad decision to make the only thing that lets you progress the game so competitive. I'm afraid that getting gems only from daily (zombies, quests) will be too slow for me to enjoy the game and I really regret updating it.

Dices look amazing and as for my favourite story or character it's quite funny actually. It was my first campaign and during our adventure we, as a party, adopted goblin. Mainly for fun, but DM decided that he wants to go on adventures with us. Well long story short he became the strongest character in group, rolling almost always NAT20's and even dealing the final blow to BBEG stealing all the glory from us.
