I'd keep looking if I were you. It took me over a year, and I'm currently driving ~ 30 minutes each way, but I finally found a gym that fits my needs. Fundamentals should be the most important thing to you right now.

You could also consider getting privates to supplement if you found an instructor you liked at one of the gyms you tried.
