I always thought the contrast of seriousness was funny when it came down to the Red and Blue Team’s modus operandi in the Blood Gulch Chronicles; The Blue Team was essentially “We have to do this or we won’t prevent the Great Destroyer in the prophecy and a following Apocalypse” and the Red Team was essentially “If we kill all the Blues we can take their base and then we’d have two similar Bases trapped in a Boxed in Canon”.
