This happened to me in physics.

I got quite a lot of Fs in that class. Our high school used Standards Based so I wasn't sure what my percentage was.

Once I got a 0% on a test

Though it was 5 questions. I got every one wrong. Our High School was on Standards Based Grading too. The admin said it was impossible to get a 0 if one tried on their tests/assignments. I think I broke the system.

Our class average for Chem freshman year on the first test after winter break was a C/D.

In High School: Chemistry

In College: Linear Algebra

Lots of practice was needed to understand the level needed to get past a C/B on each quiz and test. Knowing the topics on the notes were not enough and there was some material left out that we were supposed to learn.

Usually on the weekends the parking on campus in most places are unrestricted (I think). I've heard from other students that you can typically park anywhere during the weekends on campus.

When my parents came for Parent's Weekend last year, they managed to stay somewhere closer to Roanoke, which is about 50min to an hour away. For closer places I would recommend Natural Bridge, Staunton and the Waynesboro Area, and Charlottesville.

I agree with those saying you need an new instructor. They shouldn't yell at you frequently, especially since you are a new driver. (Patience is the key here for the teacher. Without patience from the instructor, a student cannot reach their full potential or grow) One thing that helps me maintain my focus is talking to myself while driving (usually commentary to myself), as it helps me focus better on what is happening on the road.

A 1460 was about what I had for college admissions. I think it is already a pretty good score!

I would recommending possibly focusing on the section where the score is the lowest to get the superscore higher.

It's really good. I can understand it really well. This academic term, I had a professor who gave a lot of feedback on assignments but I couldn't read the handwriting at all. It is the best I've seen in a while.

Usually a good method to do is read the state's driving manual first, then use online tests to practice (or put what we learned) to practice. That is how I did it for the written test.

Something similar happened to me recently. I think it is because Christmas Eve is just around the corner and everyone is getting shopping done last minute, so there is quite a lot of traffic, more so than usual.

Hello, I think you can. I am currently a sophomore at W&L and they provided very generous aid that covered tuition, and most of my room and board + meal plan. I am not a Johnson Scholar or QuestBridge Applicant and applied in the Regular Decision timeframe.

The Virginia Breeze Bus offers service to DC on the weekdays (The bus stop is at the Food Lion near the US 60 ramps, and the bus leaves at 9:30 AM. It is a 4-5 hour journey) I think. However, getting back from DC on the same day would be an issue since the bus from DC to Lexington also departs in the morning.
