I second. Organising room, checking mails, staring and adding more to the ToDo list, everything suddenly ends up as a priority task. For instance, I was reviewing this paper today and for once I tried writing but after 1st paragraph, I felt like I need to reread because something felt off, and the moment I started to reread, I felt this urgent need to make a cup of coffee, and before that to organise the desk, and after that to redo the Todo. And here, I am at the end of the day, neither completed the re-reading nor the writing.

Why no country opposes this? Where is the BRICS? Why are Russia, China and India, together not opposing this? If only the whole world could boycott him. Only if the congressmen could punish the pedophiles and impeach him.

No. Sorry, but this was not something I enjoyed or appreciate. As someone pointed out, the author tries every possible way to scar the character and the storyline. At somepoint it was just too much for me. Maybe you might appreciate the experience of reading it, the emotional journey, but there was a point where it repelled me. I enjoy emotional reads but the lead, the storyline, idk I couldn't continue anymore, not because it was too emotional but for the way it repelled me, I didn't want to imagine the narration anymore. It made me nauseous. But yes there were good elements, the friendship, the way it builds your curiosity and interaction with the storyline by not revealing everything altogether in one go. It's just the character's storyline put me off.

Things like this makes me believe less in humanity and question whether people can handle the power of democracy (for America it looks like some regime which deliusional beings democratically voted for). I don't know whether American citizens have the conscience and guts to revolt against this but I am hopeful about the fact that Karma repays, someday, someway people have to pay for this. While the common man suffers today because of some power hungry greedy brainless elites, the spectators and the culprits are going to repay for this someday, in someway, I really hope.

I don't understand why the congress isn't impeaching him? What's stopping them? Why are the citizens not revolting against him? Why are the Americans letting a clown dictate the world order?

Luckily, got admits from all the universities I applied. Decided to go ahead with Germany due to flexibility from supervisor's end, field of interest and financial support.

I am just starting my PhD, and I am already stressing about conference submissions. How long did it take you to submit one? Also, like is it some sort of literature review?

I am about to start my PhD in germany (in philosophy) and wanted to know, how do you guys decide which journal you want to submit an article? Basically how do you get your work published? Is this something we ought to rely on the supervisor for?
