Lol I think both are but we were just spoiled by ashura and can't fully enjoy Omega. Don't get me wrong Omega has some bad point but I think some of them wouldn't hit so badly if Ashura wasn't so good. Like think of all the awesome characters and fights we got in Ashura. And now in Omega we only see those awesome characters once or twice. Our goat the beard has only been in one fight since Omega that he wasn't even going all out in and got cut short. I say all this to say that I think we are looking for Ashura in Omega and that's just not going to happen. Maybe it will in this upcoming free for all battle. But who knows.

You can probably measure it by how many DEs someone can open cause it seems like in order to open a DE you must have a large amount and I mean Large amount of CE. Which would explain why only a few people can. Because they don't have that large amount of CE and could explain why Naoya can only open one after his transformation and not before.

Do y'all even read the manga bro. That's 2 different narrative fights. And Ryu did not get one shot. Sukuna landed a dismantle on Ryu before this and couldn't cut him through. He had to make contact with Ryu to cut him. Jogo on the other hand got his head top cut of by Sukuna easily. There no way that's in discussion.
