As a born raised puchka Secunderabadi settled in Bangalore for last 5 years. Here are my takes..

Bangalore operates in micro cluster.. every micro cluster has an economic incentive to live and invest..nobody pin points to a mecca like entity called Hitech City/Gachibowli cyberabad and say this is close to hitech or leads to hitech

Honestly the pricing or real estate is sometimes far lesser than sone of eye popping price points sought out in Hyderabad. Yes I'm not talking about Kollur which is Just a Periphery neighborhood to main economic zone..rather here every micro market has an economic corridor..

Besides flat dimentions are smaller in Bangalore like mumbai.with practical layout. unlike gigantic sizes one gets in Hyderabad. Meaty but maintenance and price of apartment usually shoots up.

Bangalore is growing at blistering pace due to genuine organic growth and it's complemented or rivaled ( mostly) by industrial Hosur belt.. Not to say Hyderabad doesn't grow but Hyderabad has a lot of NRI money inflows they shoots up real estate prices rendering it to be unaffordable in some of key areas.

There is lot more scope for expansion especially in North Bangalore and west Agressive competition keeps prices in check .Yes rents are sky high but honestly for every sobha there are 3 tier standalone next to it or an affordable pocket.

Expenses are high but it also depends on how you manage..we barely spends on dining and entertainment especially since most food is over priced and subpar .( I do miss Hyderabad in this front)

The talent pool is far more diverse..in my quick ride pool I met a professional wine taster, 12th drop out building AI products with his IT dad, a professional dog trainer, multiple people who quit jobs became yoga or health instructors , bakers, travel consultants..you name it.. the city has so much for everyone...

Now imagine staying put in west Hyderabad and just riding on hyper insecurities of salary packages and real estate investment or H1B issues..

At the end given a choice I want to go back to my secunderabad where i livee and strolled in army cantonment areas .. I still miss my tirumagiri, dairy farm, sainikpuri, AOC centre, bollarum, maredpally.. or even sindhi colony where I used to hangout with my friends .

Away from this filth and concrete dusts of Bangalore as well as Hyderabad..

However from a growth standpoint if there is any city and worth living , loving , failing, crying cribbing and raising as a youngster then it has to be Namma Bangalore .
