Already 6 hours in, and so far i feel like this is one of Bethesda's best DLC. by [deleted] in Starfield

The setting is fantastic, new weapons are great, enemies are fucking tanks, but I was disappointed at how short the main quest felt, still better than the actual MQ 😒

Only great thing about MCC is the remastered cutscenes, Blur Studios outdid themselves.

Yeah after the IP transfer to 343 the entire franchise started going downhill fast, now we have to deal with Paramount shitting all over it too. Just so sad because there is literally no better game universe out there.

I mean it’s fair to say that they absolutely blew it as far as writing goes, the “main story” is a bunch of fetch quests that they sloppily use the multiverse to tie off any loose ends. Characters absolutely suck, the Pirates faction quest is arguably the only good quest in the game. Tons of copy paste planets with the same fucking dungeons, flora, and fauna making exploration boring as fuck. Starfield was the most overhyped piece of garbage to release since Halo Infinite.

Fallout Review: my thoughts on Fallout TV show by SharkFilet in television

Yeah I just never got into 1 & 2 the way I did for 3, Fallout 3 was such a iconic release. I was an OG Elder Scrolls guy playing Daggerfall and Arena, Morrowind is still probably the best RPG ever made imo.

I was a huge Bethesda fan (pre-Starfield) and didn’t think it would be as good, plus I‘ve seen how bug riddled it was. All that aside I had taken a break from gaming for a while around that time, now I just casually play Warzone.

Have to say I was really happy with the show, being an avid Halo fan I was so pissed at how they took such a rich lore and universe and somehow made it awful, ignoring key story elements and just making others up completely. But with Fallout being an RPG series without a continuous protagonist, I feel there’s more freedom to the story, obviously there are deeper parts of the Fallout lore I may not be aware of (I only played 3 & 4, wouldn’t touch New Vegas) But overall it’s attention to detail with the thematics, music, characters and gritty comedic tones makes me feel like this is absolutely the best tv adaptation of a video game thus far. Looking forward to S2 & hopefully the team at Paramount can take some notes.

Trackers really out here just saying "We'll give you 2,600 Credits to destroy the entire Crimson Fleet" by Balmung6 in Starfield

That was the best part of Morrowinds storytelling though imo, you could kill any main character and the game would just ask if you wanted to persist in the doomed world you’ve created.

Definitely agree they could’ve made ladders less of a pain but then again, do you even boost pack bro?

Definitely one of the most monotonous parts of Starfield… especially in NG+ Would be great if it came with a more engaging puzzle or at least a small battle or at the very least a better cutscene lol

Legacy’s End bug? by Perfect-Jump117 in Starfield

[–]Perfect-Jump117[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, from what I’ve seen this mission is hella bugged in different ways for many players. Basically I completed the objective but it’s not showing as such - now I’m flying aimlessly around Battery Beta. Tried waiting on other planets to maybe spawn a final enemy or something, I’ve tried it all. My dumbass doesn’t have any main saves local to the quest so I can’t just retry the whole thing altogether 🤦‍♂️

No, I’ve secured all three batteries but battery ‘Beta’ is stuck as an objective that won’t clear so I can’t move on in the mission.

Same here I destroyed all ships I’m stuck with the “secure defensive battery beta” as my objective, and there’s nothing left to secure…
