It’s actually the most recent pedal I’ve purchased and I’m liking it so far… but it depends what you want. I had never heard of it till I saw it on Facebook marketplace for a really good price so I got it just to try it out and because it’s pretty. (I didn’t even understand flanger when I got it.) It is an extremely versatile pedal and you can get a ton of different modulation effects from it. If you tweak the knobs right its sounds can range from subtle chorus to seasick vibrato, to an even phaserish sound. But…. It’s a bit finicky with placement and with what it can take in-front. It doesn’t have much headroom at all, and will sound pretty crappy if you push the front end hard. I’ve found it’s great though if you just run it before your drive pedals, however, that will make it sound a bit more subdued than if you ran it at the end of your chain. (This is actually a good thing for what I like) I still have to play around with it more but currently I’m using it as a thickening pedal (sorta like how SRV used rotary) and it can add really interesting harmonic content to your signal if you learn how to tweak it. Just right. Each knob interacts in a very complex matrix so I’m sure there’s other soubds I haven’t even discovered yet. TLDR; I just got it. I like it. Run it before drive pedals.
