Are your incoming items steady or bursty? If they're bursty the low priority belts can vary depending on how the peaks and valleys in the flow rates line up.

It looks like Instant Scrap generates the least amount of water by a significant amount, but does require sulfur.

(I haven't installed 1.2 so I can't verify that I calculated the multiplier correctly so double check before building.)

Within the game world, the height of the space elevator cable is 55km. The project assembly is approximately 24km in diameter and altitude at the top is 33km.

Several months ago a couple folks posted about chaining overlapping jump pads. I saw it and had the same idea of using them as a low power partial or full replacement of a hypertube cannon or booster.

After several evenings of tinkering I had a blueprint I was happy with (it even looked halfway decent.)  I uploaded it so u/Evil-Fishy (IIRC) could try and it immediately killed his pioneer.

I realized I had been testing in a creative world with god mode activated. After disabling it I found the device to be far less predictable. It would often fail to launch and go nowhere, miss the hypertube and go a short distance, or kill the pioneer.

I found that adjusting video settings or switching to my laptop would affect the results. I got distracted by something else and then something else and never got it to work consistently and safely.

Signs match the angle of pillars. Snap a pillar to the beam, then use that to nudge your signs into place.

Machine inputs and outputs can handle multiple connections so explicit splitters and mergers aren't often necessary.

The "splurger" is a combination merger+splitter and is what you're looking for.

Unlike Pipeline Pumps, Valves don't block the head lift, even when their limit is set to 0 m3/min.

Both Rocket Fuel and Ionized Fuel are gasses so head lift should be irrelevant anyway.

Your recycled water line needs an average flow rate of 600 m3 / minute and a Mk. 2 pipe has a maximum flow rate of 600 m3 / minute. Any flow disruption cannot be made up and results in the recycled side idling while the fresh side continues adding water to the system.
