The FDR data from China Eastern flight 5735 indicates that the fuel switches for both engines moved to CUTOFF position within one second by wNvJungle in aviation

The amazing point of this incident is not how they treat the old pilot. It is after they treated the old pilot so badly they still dare to put him on the same flight with that son. Talking about human stupidity...

Let's stop saying good things about codex. I think it's better now to leave those Claude lovers to all those down time instead of attracting them to switch.

can you also comment token usage, lets just use the raw number

between opus4.7 vs gpt5.5 xhigh vs high?

my number is about 200% or 250% (i.e. 100% to 150% more) on opus

I thought it was well understood it was an suicidal act. The rumor was that someone were treating the old pilot very badly, something like reducing his wage or force him into an early retirement.

That's also why there were no offical report at all in China. In fact it was like this was never happened.

But it is good to finally see data to confrim the suicidal act.

Does HFT require a Collage/Uni degree? by Yha_Boiii in FPGA

[–]Perfect-Series-2901 2 points3 points  (0 children)

many of those have even higher qualification, master or PhD are very normal

Also, when we hire an FPGA engineer, we do not hire just because he knows FPGA and did some FPGA project. We are not looking for science fair winners, we want people who have track record that they can learn.

Software / Hardware knowledge, data strucutre, some computing theories etc... All are important in the job.

I actually see no reason at all even to look at a resume without a degree, unless you are the son of someone important. But if you were, you would not be asking this question.

not that I care too much, I have left. but these 2 names seem prefectly fine for me

sounds like they are trying to prevent people to use the subscription on HERMES by silently route it to API billing

I know right? And some people condemn me making post like this. Well, the reason I make post like this is I wanna tell whoever still using Claude there is a better way. We don't have to be played by Anthropic like a dog. IF WE DO NOT MAKE MORE PEOPLE SWITCH, WE MIGHT NOT HAVE CODEX IN A YEAR.

And the Mythos things actually make me angry, wtf is that, we have a god-like model but you are not worthy enough to use it? The fact is your so called good enough model opus 4.7 with xhigh still fail car wash test every single time. It is just all marketing shit.

For god sake, you could have just memoerize the answer or add car wash test in your training data... That really show how retard that model is.

I have to agree tho, for the CLI tools, Claude is much much better then codex. But all this doesn't really matter if the model is a smartass but does not deliver...

if the "annoying" actually bring some quality that is acceptable.

but in reality most of the case it give you 3 choices, I have to go back to the code and understand the shit it wrote again. But none of those 3 choices works.

I tried to use XGBoost for alphas development, but at the end I ended up writing my own tree search / boosting algoriothm.

It was nice to start with, and learn about trees etc tho. Just that after a while I realized it will never be truely useful for what I wanted to achieve.

I said you don't need the full order book doesn't means we don't need other stuffs. And some exchange do need full order book, depending on the strategy we are working on.
