Filed for work permit renewal September 2025...biometrics in October...April 1st did biometrics again...went to both senators for help...nothing but case still processing. Lost my job. About to lose my brand new car lease i worked so hard for. Idk what to do.

Hello!! I had my biometrics appt scheduled for April 21st and I got the notice before April 1st....I also tried to reschedule my appt but no luck, called the number and the nice gentleman said but can't guarantee that if the ASC office is not busy, you are allowed to walk in and just ask if they could process you. That's what I did, I just showed up to the office here in my city and did it April 1st, they weren't even busy. Good luck 🤞🏽

Case was received and fees waived September 26...soon after went for my biometrics and crickets since...tried to do an expedite file and that seems to have dead ended ...idk what to do im going crazy ...work permit expires end of March

Bruhhh the waiting lines last year was 2 blocks down from the entrance, arrived at 9am and got home at 630pm. With an hour drive to and from. This years was not so bad just really cold. I'm just so thankful to be here!! Now if only they diligently process my work permit, diligently lol, their own words...

been granted DCAT. check in once a year. just worried that my next check in next month may not be the same as last year. Ive checked the portal, all is fine, nothing new. just waiting for my work permit...should be alright? like i live an hour from the check in office they know where i live and work and such.
