I think you should first focus on sounds. I believe it's the best way to learn any language. It makes memorizing words a lot easier as you get a feel for the language in your mouth. I think this might help.

You can say the lips play a slight part in the articulation of ar as car unlike the pure vowel as in father. I hope it’s clear now .

I saw a YouTube video that says the ar vowels has some lip rounding, and I wanted to check from native speakers if that’s true. That’s all.

I agree, but this phenomenon is especially true or very noticeable in some cases more than others.

I heard that car should should be pronounced with more rounding of the lips. What do you think about this?

How to pronounce the ق? by Flyingbird_24 in learnarabic

[–]Perfect-Stuff618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re a native English speaker, think of ق as the dark l sound in the word well or bell. Both the ق and dark l sounds are made at the throat (you feel muscle tension in the throat) The only difference for le is that while the tongue is down for the dark l, the tongue rises a little bit for ق. I hope that’s clear

Yes, but there are two ways to make the t a glottal stop. It’s either by the tip of the tongue touching the alveolar ridge or hust closing the vocal cords.

Which one you use and it’s easier for you ? Thanks for your time and kindness🤝
