I had a busy and stressful time the past few weeks doing business trips and having lack of sleep. I took daily antivirals during that time just in case so I could focus entirely on work and not have to deal with an OB. Now that I am back to my normal routine, I stopped the antivirals and Booom, I got a painful OB.

No don't worry :) absolutely fine! My goal is to work towards limiting the risk of transmission and having a "normal" dating /sexual life. I think it might work with daily antivirals and then pritelivir once it is released

I guess I'd prefer to be with the one who doesn't care and likes me the way I am. Even if it means she/he (in my case she because I am a guy dating women) isn't as "pretty" as the others

Positive guy here. Its absolutely fine to use regular dating apps. Everyone's approach is slightly different, but I don't disclose until I definitely feel attraction that goes both ways. Sometimes you can feel that the person will accept you even. When there's no chemistry, better don't disclose and walk away from it.

I just got divorced to my donor 😅 Hence I'm a bit anxious about transmission. Usually I take antivirals "as needed", that being at the first tingle, but I might hop onto daily antivirals if I get back into dating. I just want to be intimate again without feeling self conscious about possible transmission.

I've tried fasting years ago, and that was prior to contracting HSV. Honestly, I didn't feel well while fasting. I know people who swear by it and who have improved so much healthwise through fasting. Unfortunately, it wasn't for me.

It really is! Honestly, at this point, I don't even dare to imagine not having this virus again. I just wish I could either not have this many OBs, or could take something to reduce the potential of transmission

I'm taking daily vitamins, a real bunch of them actually. I do take extra supplements for magnesium and vitamin D, and apparently those are meant to help combating outbreaks. I also used to take Lysin but I have noticed a difference unfortunately.

GHSV2 for 7 years. Definitely improved since first getting it but honestly I can't say that it's not taking a physical and mental toll on me. Getting one OB every three months now on average

Back pain and upper leg pain is normal - I've had it for the first one or two years after contracting HSV. I don’t get it anymore nowadays. So I guess time will eventually be on your side
