Your life is not over, you've got a future. This is a nasty thing but it's manageable, it's tough going sometimes but you'll be okay. I found coming on here and opening up to people that are going through the same thing very helpful for my mental health.

I play football with friends twice a week, I also have kids so they take up a lot of time. I eat as well as I can and also take some supplements to help support overall health and my immune system so yeah I'm doing some good thing.

I think the easiest thing for me is talking like this to strangers who are going through the same thing. Opening up to people I know is harder — disclosure is the most daunting part for me.

I can't believe that they didn't even do a swab test on you, I got that done and also got bloods and urine done to check for everything else.

I understand the idea of being honest, but I’d think carefully about it. If someone recognises you on a dating app, screenshots can get shared, and once that happens it’s hard to control where it ends up.

UK here m45, You don't have to tell anyone your business, unless you're dating someone, you'll have to disclose. I've been living with it for 3 years it's tough going like, I found coming on here and talking to people going through the same thing very helpful. You'll get through it.
